The plan was for me to pick her up but my car suddenly won't start so she is picking me up. Damn, I don't know how she is so punctual with her time but sharp at 7 pm, I can hear the doorbell ring. A smile creeps on my face. Nia... Nia... Shaking my head at the absurd punctuality, I grab my purse after putting on my black cardigan. We are going to an outside cinema so casual should do just fine.
What I'm wearing are blue ripped skinny jeans, a white shirt and a black cardigan. Casual af. I even wear my comfy black converse.
Rushing down the stairs, I shout a short goodbye to my mom. She merely replied with a 'Remember to use protection!'... Ha... Ha... Ha... Very funny, mom. Very funny.
Once I'm in front of our front door, I take one deep breath before opening the door.
Wow
Nia is dressed in her white see-thru off-shoulder blouse and black jeans. She even wears a cute light blue beret. I don't understand why she needs a hat at night but damn, my girl is rocking that outfit!
The petite cheerleader chuckle.
"Love, you're drooling.", she teased me.
I quickly wipe my face with the sleeve of my cardigan. When I hear the familiar soft laughter, I knew she was joking. My brows furrowed in annoyance. God, I should have known it! I mean she looks hot but I won't be drooling. The drool is for when we have put first time together- what the heck! Did I just... Really? Ughh... Nevermind, let's go on.
"S-shut up, dummy.", I stutter. That's right, the awesome overly confident Kyle Bishop just stutter.
Luckily, my babe didn't say anything. She merely offers her hand to me in a very gentleman like gesture.
"Shall we get going then, my love?", she asked.
I bet she spent hours practising that in front of the mirror. As I was about to take her hands, something come up in my mind.
"Oh shit, wait a minute, please."
I turned back and walk as fast as I can, toward my kitchen. The corner of my lips curls up a little. The paper bag that i had carefully prepared a few hours ago is still there. Untouched and unharmed. Funny, this is the first time no one tried to eat my food.
Nia's brows slightly furrowed when she saw me coming out with that paper bag in my hand.
"I would have never thought you are the type that brings a gun to your date. Hiding it in a paper bag? Classic."
Sarcasm alert! Just you wait, Titania Lance.
"If my chocolate chips are considered as a gun, I guess we won't be needing snacks today."
The way Nia's eyes widen in surprise made me chuckle.
I slowly turn around, pretending that I want to put the paper bag back inside the house. Of course, I had expected Nia to do something but what I didn't expect is the way the little cheerleader grab me by my hand. She then pulls me into her arms.
Nia hug me tightly. She buries her face into my neck. I can feel the tingly feelings down to my core with every touch of her breath.
Gosh, Nia... We haven't even gone to our date and you are already going to the second base. I brace myself for her to kiss my neck.
But instead, the little damn cheerleader snatched the paper bag from my hand and immediately run away from me.
When she was far enough, the petite girl turns around and stick her tongue at me.
"My cookies!", she announced in a very dramatic way.
Okay, it's official. We don't need a date. Let me just kill this girl right here, right now. Clearly, she like the cookies more that she likes me.
Sighing, I made my way to her car. Since that damn cheerleader is busy stuffing her face with my cookies. The cookies that I bake with my own two hands. All the romantic gesture I was daydreaming about went to hell as I open the car's door by myself! I know, I know... I am fully capable of opening the door by myself. Fuck, I even buckled the seatbelt by myself...
Ugh, aajmzjdkasmsmamamwaak!!!!
It's hard to explain.
I feel a very strong urge to strangle Nia but I am deeply emotionally involved with this girl so I have no other option but to tolerate her crime to the 'romantic date' nation in this world. Take it, Lance! I'm tolerating something for ya, I better at least get a kid tonight.
Ah, I meant kiss not kid... I don't have the thingy needed for a kid.
