"Put that lousy badge away. You're not an agent." You held your gun up to his head.
"How do you figure?"
"Mr. Dean Winchester, I know who you and your brother are. I've been following your story since that bank robbery where you got arrested. Then you died. Then you're back. Then you're a serial killer. Then you're dead again." Dean, the man you've been trying to find for years, now only feet from your gun. "And here again," you continued.
"Look," he said. "That last one wasn't us."
"I know. I've done some digging. Almost too much. I know things now."
"What kind of things?"
"Who you really are. What you really are." It's the reason why you ran away. There was no life you back at home. Once you knew about Sam and Dean Winchester, there's no going back to a normal life. You had to find them and become one of them.
"Come on," he retorts, with his hands in his pockets. "That's no reason to shoot me."
"You've killed people. You've impersonated government officials. Credit card theft. Identity theft. Illegal possession of highly dangerous arsenals..." You paused for a moment to study his face. He looked a bit shocked. "Dude, you're awesome."
"W-wait," he twisted his face. "I'm... awesome."
You shifted your weight to one leg and smiled.
"Do you always threaten your heroes?"
"Not everyone. Just you."
He smiled, making his bright green eyes twinkle. "I'm honored."
You saw a shadow on the ground being reflected on your silver gun before slipping it into your black leather pants. "First question: why is your brother sneaking up behind me with lead piping?" You whipped around and came face to face with a shaggy haired giant.
"Sam," Dean said. "Give it up. She's not a monster."
"What are you doing here?" you asked.
The brothers were silent for a minute.
"Hunting," Sam said. "You?"
"Hunting."
"Hunting what?"
"You. And the ghost you've been hunting."
Dean stepped in. "Hunting us? What do you mean?"
You stepped over to a table and sat on the edge. "I saw the footage of the bank heist. Well, I was there. I was in the crowd when Dean led the man out of the bank because of his diabetes or whatever. I, being the skeptic I am, did some investigating. I made my way to a window and saw a woman shed her skin and turn into another woman."
"Yeah," Dean said. "The shifter."
"Yeah. I know." You continued. "I went home that night and watched the news on repeat. Got your names, did some research, hacked some video surveillance, and it spiraled from there. I saw everything. I watched you kill monsters, impersonate cops, feds, and priests."
Sam looked confused. "You've been watching us through security cameras?"
"Well, not always. Whenever I found out where you were, I would go there. I would follow you, try to get your attention, wait for the right moment when you needed help, but you always seemed to get yourself out of trouble... one way or another."
Dean turned to Sam. "You mean there's been a chick tailing us this whole time?"
He called you a 'chick'. Why does that make you so giddy. Come on. Be professional now.
