It's been a few months now since my family began seeing ghosts. They are still slowly adjusting. I haven't had to fight in a while, which is nice, but also a little weird. Herm seems to be in low spirits, I believe it's because of the issue with hearing but not seeing him. I can still see him of course, but the others can't.

"Eres!" I walk out of my room. Lysie is peeking out of her room. "Yes?" She looks around. "Come in here." She pulls me into her room. Then she pushes me over to her beanbag chair. I sit and wait for her to explain.

"I've been asked to go eat with a group." I nod. Not really surprising. Everyone gets along with her. "And?" She sighs. "I need help choosing an outfit." I smile. "So you want my help?" She nods, avoiding my look though. "Alright. What kind of restaurant? Who are you going with? Will there be guys present? Or just girls?"

She looks at me, surprise written all over her face. "What?" I smile. "Well, depending on these things, you will need a different outfit." She nods. "Well, I'm not really sure where we are going. It has to be somewhere in Goldrush Valley though, some of the others aren't allowed to leave." I nod. "I'm going with my friends, there will be a few guys there. Jenny said that they're all from school though. It's to meet new people. Also some of the girls want dates." I nod.

"I see. You still going strong on not wanting that?" She nods. "Absolutely!" I smile. "I support you. Well, do you want to look at what you have already? Or do you want to go pick some new clothes out." She looks at me, then starts to smile. "Can we pick some out? I used my allowance already."

I laugh. "Sure, consider it my treat. After all, your birthday is in a few days. Count it as your birthday present." She hugs me. "You're the greatest sister!" I raise an eyebrow. "Lysie, I'm your only sister." She grins and shrugs. "That's right, but you're still the best." I stand. "Lets go then. Have you told mom and dad?"

She sighs, not so happy. "Well, I told dad, but I'm afraid to tell mom. She'll go crazy excited and talk about how she'll finally get a chance to have a grandchild." I shake my head. "That's true. You told dad though, I'll tell her later. After you go. If dad agreed, we already know she would have." She nods. "Thank you!"

I grab my bag and we head for the shops. Herm follows us. Since he can't be seen, he can still sneak around with me. Only other ghosts see him.

"Let's look in here." She nods. It's one of the nicer clothing stores here. There aren't many, but the few they do have, tend to have a good variety. People who are traveling sometimes bring clothes and other items to sell with them too. Almost like merchants. This town is old.

"Oh, Eres and Lysie. What can I do for you?" I smile at Gerdie. Her and her brothers own this particular shop. "Lysie has a group date tonight, we want to find a new outfit for her." Lysie looks at me. "Eres!" I smile. "What? She has to know if she's planning on helping us." She frowns. I put my arm around her shoulder.

"Don't look so embarrassed dear. Eres knows that I'm the one to go to for these sorts of things. Many of the young people come to look around my place, so I know what sorts of clothes are in style." Lysie nods and pushes my arm off of her. "Alright, I trust you both." I nod. She walks around to look. I turn to Herm. "Want to help look?"

He smiles. "Sure." We walk around. He points out some clothes, until I finally stop him. "Hermes, we are looking for an outfit for Lysie, not me." He grins. "But you need some new clothes too." I shake my head. "Not now. Maybe another day." He pouts and turns away from me.

Finally, we find her a simple grey dress and blue jean jacket. "Looks good dear." I nod. Lysie smiles. While she changes back into her other clothes, I pay. "Thank you!" She grabs my arm. In her other hand is the bag of clothes. We walk home arm in arm. Lysie isn't usually like this. We get along okay, but not enough for her to actually want to be around me. I guess she was desperate for some girl help. She definitely couldn't ask mom.
