The final battle was fought and won. The Ghosters were nearly wiped out. Only a few remained, they ran away. Not long after, they were hunted down and found by a Spellcaster. He told them that she promised to leave him a few, and she kept her promise.
When Eres released the final blow, the lead Ghoster was killed instantly. All the Ghosters near her were as well. Lysie was only stunned. When she woke, she tried to find Eres. She was found by Hermes and Graden.
The Ghost Army stayed to help with the aftermath, then they vanished. The Phantoms stayed to help the people go back to their houses, then they went back home to Phantom Town. Other than Hermes and Ginger, all of the ghosts that had been given solid forms returned to being ghosts.
The Spellcasters returned to the town a month later, only to find that the battle had been fought. Magus went to the Haunting tree, and was given a box. Hermina had been asked to guard it for him. Inside, was a book.
Eres had written a few of the chapters down inside it, then written a few of her own. She wrote to tell him that bringing Hermes back and giving ghosts a solid form worked. Also, using her energy to defeat the Ghosters worked. He held on to it constantly. It also had a few spells inside, ones she thought he might enjoy trying.

After the battle, him and Ellen decide to settle down. After a few months, they get married and he moves them away from Goldrush Valley. Instead, they move back to his old house and live there. Now that the Ghosters are gone, she no longer has to protect Goldrush Valley. Though Orlea and Selene stay behind to guard it anyway. Ellen and him have a few children. Their oldest two are twin girls, Melony and Harper. Both have black hair and blue eyes, though Harper has freckles.

He stays at the big house with his parents while Magus is hunting down the remaining Ghosters. Him and Bryan continue hanging out and meeting up with girls. When Magus returns, Jason decides that he will leave with him to learn from the Spellcasters.
