A Perfect Match

"Excuse me? This area is for staff only" a brunette girl explained, shoving herself between Tori and the backstage door. Tori scanned her but could not remember seeing her around here. "I know that. My fight is in 30 minutes and if I am late you can explain that to my manager" Tori was annoyed.
Since the brunette made no signs of moving, Tori shoved her out of her way.
Giving the heavy door a good push, Tori entered the area reserved for fighters and staff. " Where are you, Nate?" Tori asked into the room. " Here!",  a young man with purple hair waved at her.
Nate was her manager for almost two years now. She was used to him getting lost and he was used to her being late.
She made her way over to him. " You are pretty early for being you !" Nate put his hand on her shoulder, to lead her into her dressing room.
"I got you a new outfit and I got me a new assistant which I already lost."  Nate folded his hands above his head with a silent prayer.
Tori checked the clothing folded in front of her. It was a blue galaxy sports top and a fitting green shorts. "Now get out of here" Tori pushed her manager out of the room.
A minute later she was wearing her new fighting attire which matched her eyes.
"Please Fighter assemble at the stage door" a female voice announced over the speaker. 
Tori checked her appearance one last time before she left. "I found my assistance! Let me introduce you to Nina."  Nate stepped aside, there was the girl whom Tori met earlier. Nina's face went blank and white as a ghost. " Next time, you should check your bosses clients Wikipedia page!" Tori laughed the at the frightened assistant.
"Match one. Tori vs. Steph Morain. Two minutes" the voice announced and Tori sprinted out on the stage. Before every fight, Tori went to pay the viewers a visit.

15 minutes

" Get me an ice pack," Tori whispered as she returned to the backstage area. " Can you please, give me an ice pack !" Tori ranted when Nina wasn´t fast enough to hand her the requested pack. " I am so sorry! " Nina said, " For not being able to get your ice pack  and denying you access to the area !" Nina played with a strand of her maroon coloured hair.
Tori opened her eye which had a black circle around it. Her opponent had given her some quit some bruises, but lost in the end.

Nina looked to be around the same age as Tori and  5"11.  She looked well trained and really muscly.
"What sports did you play in? You don't have the physicals to be a fighter or the knows about" Tori asked.
Nina's body relaxed before she answered. " I started playing soccer in preschool. Got a scholarship for college and played till graduation. I did play field hockey too, but just for fun"  her eyes started glowing while she mentioned soccer.
"Nate gave a presentation while Inwas studying sports management and offered a job, which I obviously took" she gestured around. Tori nodded.

A few days later

"It funny how some person have that famous dopplegänger, don´t you think?" Nina asked Tori who was lifting weights next to her chair. " Like Amy Adams and Isla Fisher?"  
"No, like there is this random baby that looks like Ed Sheeran. Or my mom's hairdresser looked like Fran Fine from the Nanny." Nina switched her position on the chair. It became quite normal for the both of them to go to the gym together. Nina's knowledge of the body and its muscles was quite the advanced for Tori while training.
"Sure, there is also this Girl from Jurassic World and Jessica Chastain, always thought they were the same person" Tori switched to doing push-ups. " You could be a sister to that girl that used to be on TV. There was this Show called Holly Time and you really have a striking resemblance to that girl." Nina laughed as she sat on Tori's feet.
Tori stopped mid push-up. Her face went white, every ghost would be jealous of her colour right then. She tried to act normal, to get her breathing back in a healthy pattern before she would faint from a lack of oxygen.
"Do - Do you think? " she asked trying to act natural. " Haven´t seen the show more than a handful of times, but I think yes, you do look like a grown, bad ass version of said girl" Nina giggled before releasing the fighters feet. " Nate texted, he wants to see us!" Tori said, after checking her phone.
