more than friends

sophie's POV

hey. my name is Sophie. I am 13 years old and I have a girlfriend called Elizabeth. She is 15 years old. She is really friendly and she kisses my cheek every time we say goodbye after school.

One day, she came round my house after school, and that's when our lives changed.

We were walking around the estate where I live hand in hand when we suddenly heard a noise. A police box appeared out of nowhere and a man came out. He was wearing a fez and a bow tie. He had a crazy smile on his face. He was carrying a small device that looked a bit like a screwdriver, but sonic.

"hey" the man said. "I'm the doctor".
"doctor who?" I asked.
"just the doctor" he replied. He invited us into his box that he called the "TARDIS". When we went inside, we were shocked! It was bigger on the inside!

Then the Doctor said he needed us for a mission. He said the Daleks were taking over the universe and that we were the only people who could stop them. We asked why we were chosen, and he said he didn't know.

The Doctor took us to a planet called Skaro. He said this was where the Daleks lived....
