Chapter 3 We'll start from the beginning of 3 (FINAL REWRITE)

(Flashback)

As Rick was looking at the sarcophagus he had no idea that behind that lied the Mask waiting listing. "Rick," Jennifer called out to her boyfriend, once Rick went to Jenny and saw what she was looking at. It looked like Jenny in the painting but that's impossible. "The women in this picture? Don't you think... I mean-" Jenny was cut off by Rick, "That she sort of like you? Yeah, that's kinda-" and Rick was cut off but this time by Dr. Henry West. "Strange."

(Flashback ended)

The portal took Rick and the Mask to a new place where Rick and the Mask heard jenny's screams, "It's Jeniffer they're gonna kill her the sacrifice has started!" "Well it does seem like that doesn't it?" the Mask says along with "Well get moving lover boy! And save your girl!" Rick and the Mask saw the Wickerman in the distance and what was assumed to be RIck's girlfriend "Jenny!" Rick yelled. Jenny and he knew it was the sacrifice, thinking he had to save her quickly. And once he got there and had to fight threw so much bloody carnage, to riping shit in half from tearing out intestines and heart with the lungs. But when he got there, he thought it was too late as he thought Jenny was burning. "Rick she's" The Mask tried to say but was interrupted by 'Jenny' attacking Rick and he had no other choice but to fight her. "That ain't Jen." The Mask said as they notice a wedding ring on her finger, and once again another portal opened he left in it and didn't even notice that the younger Dr.West watched the entire thing.

And again another flashback for Rick, the last time he will remember Jenny like that.

(Flashback)

"I don't remember inviting two of you." Dr. West said to Jenifer and Rick, "Oh, ah - Dr.West... I'm Jenifer Will's." Jen said to Dr.West. "You contacted me about interviewing for the student newspaper?" Jenny asked him, "To give your side of the story about the work you're doing at the medical school?" Jenny tells Dr.West. But west was still upset about Rick being there, "And your companion?" Dr.West asked about Rick. Rick walked up to Dr.West with his hand out to shake, "Rick Taylor, sir. I hope you don't mind." once Rick realized that Dr. West wasn't going to be friendly he puts his hand down and continues to say. "But Jen and I have a date tonight. So kinda made sense for me to just-" Jenny holds on to Rick's arm as he tells Dr.West about their plans. "I understand," West said completely cutting Rick off his sentence and starting to talk weirdly like he was threatening Rick or something. "You wanted to protect your girlfriend. In case anything happened to her." Now West is starting to act as if he would act alone, Rick got the vibe and so did Jenny, so Rick stood in front of Jenifer to protect her. "Very noble of you but yet and also completely futile." And then with some words, he spoke in a dead language and with a wave of his hand these monsters came to take Jenny and Rick tried to save her then.

And finally, the portal dropped Rick off at the right place and time so he can finally save Jenifer. "Oh my god." Rick said "It's a little too late to start prying now." the Mask responded to Rick's comment. "I think I feel some wired pull; some force-centered way over there." Hoping that's where Jenifer will be. "The final eclipse is approaching; the gateway is almost open." The Mask said as they both saw the moon that was falling into place over the sun. "Reality is beginning to unravel. It's time they're coming." That was the last thing the Terror Mask said. And Rick runs into Dr. West for one of the last time as he in a way describes what's happening. "Rick my friend, our journey is drawing to a close. Unfortunately, we have become adversaries." And he goes into some kind of long speech. "We share so much - the same interests, the same purpose." West pauses for a moment, "The same women." West said with that sick smile.

"Yes the Corrupted will spare mankind any further pain, and Lenora and I will be reunited!" West said as he sounds like he belongs in the loony bin, "Yeah" Rick started to say "Well, fuck you!" he said with so much anger. Which pissed off West enough to say "No Rick! Fuck you!" but when West ran off to do the sacrifice with Rick and the Mask hot on his trail, and Rick just loses his shit and kills everything in his path, nothing will stop Rick now he needs to save Jenny.

Jenny laid there tied up as West got everything ready to do the sacrifice so he can be reunited with his dead wife, with the portal ready for the corrupted to come through. As West starts to laugh evilly, as he starts chanting for the sacrifice as Jenifier cries out for help and Rick. "Thousand face moon! Look favorably upon this sacrifice." And right before West can even hurt Jenifer, this time Rick could save her and ripped off his arm. "Get your hands off my girl," Rick said passively to West as he throws him to the ground hopefully dying. He saw Jenny laying on the table unconscious, "Jen!" Rick tried to talk to her. "We did it, didn't we? We stopped the ceremony." He asked the Mask, Rick looked up at the sun to see the moon covering it. "The eclipsis is still in motion, something is trying to force its way through!" and the Mask tells Rick why he made the deal, why he needed Rick. "It's too late Rick." "But the sacrifice!" Rick tried to deny it, "One sacrifice isn't enough to open the gateway, not one, not one thousand, but ten thousand sacrifices!" and he reveals it! "And you Rick, you have been the executioner." And Rick finally understands why.

"NO!" Rick said in disbelief, "I want vengeance for an eternity of agony... I want the Corrupted to know that it was ME that stopped them." the Mask said in so much rage and anger. "And to do that. I got to let them out." Rick and the angered Mask killed the corrupted so easily and opened its chest to only pull out its heart and send it back to hell. But even though they stopped the corrupted from taking the world and Jenny, "You can watch stars burn out, and civilizations rise and fall." The Mask started to say, "But when that payback finally comes around, there's not a second of all that waiting that ain't been worth it." the Mask said finally calming down. Rick takes off the Terror Mask "Our deals over Rick, Jen is safe." Rick goes to Jen and she's awake and see's, Rick "Rick." Jen says in relief to finally see him and be in his arms. Rick and Jenifer start to leave until "wait!" Rick said and picked up the sleeping Terror Mask, "Now let's go as he and Jenny go back to the college to get ready for the concert so Rick can propose to Jenny.
