((Y/N)'s Pov)
I head outside to the fountain in front of campus, and as I sit down I can't help but let my mind wonder what kind of wired week it has been. But the most normal thing to happen is Jake coming up to talk to me which was nice, he seems like a nice guy. I open my bag for my lunch which happened to be (F/F), as I sit there taking out my lunch I hear my name. I look up and find Rick walking up to me. "Hey, Rick, what's up?" I ask him as he sits next to me, he sighs "You know same as usual, but just thinking about that test we took and shit you know." I nod my head. We sat there for a few minutes. "Can I see you after classes today there are some things I need to ask you." Rick tells me, maybe he needs help with homework or a project or some shit like that. "Okay Rick, yea we can talk later." He nods at me and looks at his phone "Shit! I got to go see you later (Y/N), I'm about to be late to see Vince." He says and rushes off. I sigh and enjoy what little of peace and quiet I got before my last class, but it never seems to last long.
"Hey (Y/N), are you busy right now." I didn't have to look up and see it was Jake and his smile. I finally look up at Jake "Nothing at the moment Jake. What do ya need?" he smiles down at me, "I just need help finding a class, my schedule got mixed up in the begin and most of my classes are the same except this one so can you help me?". He hands me his schedule and as I look through it, and for my memory. "Jake this class doesn't exist to my knowledge maybe you read" I stopped just for a moment to see what the rest of the schedule is and all it says was 'you and me five minutes in the back of my car' I look up at Jake and he looks at me with a different kind of smile, but what caught me was his eyes. Hey, just like Edger Allen Poe said 'the eyes are a looking glass into the soul'. I shake my head and hand him back his schedule and laughed. "I'm sorry Jake if you were looking for that kind of girl, I wouldn't know what direction to point you in."
He looks at me confused until he was what was written, and looks completely embarrassed. "N-no, it's not what it looks like" I sigh and give him the motion to continue. "My friends can be assholes but they think it's the only way that I'll get a girlfriend and shit, I'm sorry (Y/N)." I look at him surprised, "You're looking for a girlfriend?" I ask him, and he nods. "Is this why you walked up to me after class today?" He looks at the ground this time and nods. I stand there for a moment thinking of the mess that this poor dude is in and how he dragged me into as well because of his friends. "Friends can be assholes sometimes yes, but Jake doesn't worry if you want to we can be friends?" I ask him, hoping not to make things worse than it already is. He looks up surprised at my words but seems happy about it "Yea we can be friends (Y/N).". We both smile until my phone goes off telling me to head to my next class.
"Hey Jake I got to get to class but I'll see you later okay," I tell him as I scribble my phone number on it and hand it to him as I run off for my last class for the week and surprisingly get a weekend off of school.
(A/N):
I know this chapter was short and it should have been longer and was late as hell coming out, but it's here and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did write this. and Yes I'm sorry to say that there was no Mask in this chapter but I wanted to focus on something with (Y/N) because what might seem like nothing interesting is just character-building, this chapter is more than that. So I hoped you liked it.
