Thank you for reading Inchoate, the first installment of the series Becoming Complete. I hope you have enjoyed beginning Que's journey with her, and I hope you  continue to follow her story. I want to take a moment and give a little back story on the book as well as a preview for the next one. Inchoate is a word that means beginning or origins. Often times, in the beginning, things are really messy and in pieces. I thought this word would be an interesting representation of how Que's journey starts. In Inchoate we see Que's beginning as a part of the X-Men family. She puts on a steely exterior, but is actually really broken and a complete mess on the inside. So, in other words, she is like a lot of us, but my hope is to continue Que's story and have her work through her baggage and brokenness. She started this process in Inchoate, and has begun rebuilding her identity.

The next book will be titled Becoming Complete: Recrudescence. Recrudescence comes from the word recrudescent which comes from the Latin root that means becoming raw again. Grant it, this word can have multiple meanings depending on the context.  I am drawing on the term a little more loosely and in a more modern sense. Que has finally been able to pick up some of the pieces in her life and grow, but like new growth it is still raw and fragile. In Recrudescence, Que and the X-Men continue to search for more information on the dark matter entity, but they also run into Que's past. Que is going to have to depend on her new friends more than ever to be able to move forward.

Thank you again, to all those who have stuck with me! Keep dreaming creatively!
