Chapter 3

The trio made their way through the woods to the shack. They kept off the road to avoid being seen.

"How much further is it?" Pacifica asked. "These woods give me the creeps."

"We should be close." Dipper said. "Besides, nothing too dangerous lives in this part of the woods. We should be fine."

Suddenly the lifted a few inches of the ground. Before they had a chance to process it they fell back down.

"What was that?" Pacifica asked

"I don't know. Maybe a earthquake." Dipper said unsurly.

"Or maybe something is in these woods. And it's getting closer..." Mabel waved her arms and "ooooooed" at Pacifica.

"Mabel knock it off this is serious." Dipper said as the shack slowly came into their view.

The got behind cover and looked in awe at the government agents that had swarmed the shack.

"We'll never get past all of them." Pacifica said. "There's just no way."

"Yes there is." Mabel said looking off into the distance. "We'll have to split off to cover them most ground. I'll take out the two guards by the door, Pacifica you take out the two by that jeep, then Dipper you take that guys club and-"

"Mabel." Dipper interjected. "I think there's a easier way."

"But what will we do when we're inside?" Pacifica asked

"We have to find a way to prove Stan is innocent." Dipper thought for a moment. "Didn't he say he was stocking the gift shop last night?"

"Of course!" Mabel exclaimed. "We just need to find the security footage from last night and we can prove he's innocent!"

"Exactly!" Dipper agreed. "Now about getting inside, do you have your grappling hook on you?"

Mabel pulled it out of her sweater. "Never leave home without it."

They used the grappling hook to get in the attic window and then carefully made their way down the stairs and into Stans office.

The begin looking around his office for where the tapes could be hidden.
Mabel looked up at a animal head Stan had on his wall.

"The antlerabbit!"

"Don't you mean jackalope?" Dipper questioned.

"That can't be right." She rebutted as she push one if the antlers.

The wall turned around revealing where Stan had hidden the tapes.

"Mabel you found them!" Dipper said excitedly.

"So now we just need yesterday's tape right?" Pacifica asked

Mabel rifled through the box before holding up a tape. "Here it is!"

The put the tape into the player an fast forwarded to the night. There it showed Stan stocking the shelves in the gift shop.

"That proves it then." Pacifica said

"Yeah." Dipper replied. "Now we just have to show the agents and...oh no"

Just as he said that Stan left the gift shop.
