6. Cupcakes and Giggles

The next day the first boy sits at their table and nervously taps his feet. He's waiting for his friend and he's a wee bit late. His present is sitting on his side of the table and the first boy bites his lip. Tyler helped him pick it out so he's hoping it's okay.

The bell chimes and the second boy runs in, his face flush and his hair windswept. The first boy raises his brows at him and the second sighs and sits down.

"Sorry. I had a date and it wasn't supposed to go this late," the second boy explains and the first just laughs and pushes his treat more towards the boy.

"A cupcake?" The second boy asks with a grin and the first nods, biting his lip to hide his happy smile.

"That's not from here," the second accuses, his eyes narrowing.

"Nope it's not. From a bakery. Eat up," the first boy encourages and the second leans forward, his lips pulling back into a large smile that reveals his teeth. His front ones are bigger than the rest and it makes him look younger. The dimples do too.

"Why a cupcake?" He asks and the first boy laughs and pinches his cheek.

"Because you're a cupcake. A pretty little cupcake," he coos and the second boy rolls his eyes and slaps his hand away, his face flushing.

"Thanks. Where'd you get it?" He asks and the first boy sits straighter and smiles.

"Rios Bakery. Tyler works there and recommended it to me," the first boy says and the second shakes his head and bites into the small cake. He moans at the taste and licks his lips, giving a thumbs up.

"It's good. Your boyfriends a keeper," the second boy mumbles and the first giggles and nods.

"He's perfect. Who were you on a date with?" The first asks and the second groans and hides his face.

"Some idiot. Never again will I agree to a blind date," he complains and the first boy giggles again.

"Maybe I should set you up," he suggests and the second looks at him and shrugs.

"Maybe you should. If your friends are half as cute as you I wouldn't complain," he smirks and the first boy blushes and places his hands on his cheeks.

"Shut up and eat your cupcake, Cupcake."
