The first boy nervously bites on his lip. Tyler has been distant in the past month. It's been almost two months since they met and it's such a short time for him to be suddenly cold. The second boy still shows up everyday, getting closer to the first.
Today the second boy walks in with a torn look on his face. His eyes are puffy from crying and his nose pink. It's such a pitiful sight and the first boy jumps up from his seat to hug him. The second accepts the hug and sniffles into his neck.
"He's fucking married. He's married to this beautiful woman and they have a kid," the second boy cries and wow. That was unexpected. The first boy consoles him, kissing the side of his head and rocking them silently.
"Why can't I find a good guy? I need someone like you. Someone who will laugh with me and comfort me," the second continues to cry and the first runs his hands through the others soft hair.
"I know, baby. It's okay," the first murmurs. His cheeks burn with the mention of the pet name, but it fits so well. Falls effortlessly off his tongue like the boy is meant to be his baby. Someone he can protect from the harsh world.
"I feel so stupid and used," the second says, cuddling more into the others chest. They're still standing, wrapped in each other and it feels so good. They fit together like a jigsaw puzzle.
"You're not stupid. He's an asshole for doing this to you. You deserve better. You deserve the world," the first tells him honestly. He never realized how much he likes this boy. How much this green eyed, giggly boy meant to him. He wants the best for him and strangely, he wants to kiss him and wipe his tears away and make him smile.
"How're you and Tyler?" The second boy randomly asks and the first bites his lip and pulls the second boy closer.
"I think we're done... I'm not that into him anymore," the first admits and the seconds lips press softly against his neck.
"Good."
