The Zodiac Descendants

Chapter 1

Carrie's POV

     I looked out of the cold window. I saw the trees passing by quickly, trying to run away from the rain, which was constantly falling from the sky. I sighed loudly, and laid my head on my brother's shoulder. Carson looked at me and smiled. He put his arm gently on my shoulder, and we both fell asleep.

     "Carson, Carrie, we're here," said our mother. We rubbed our eyes.  Outside the window was an enormous castle with a huge banner that said, "Welcome to Maskerville IS.". Carson and I stared at the building with our eyes widened. Our mother smiled as she started taking out the luggage. "Let me help you with that." said both of us at the same time.

Narrator's POV

     "Mom, i'm going to miss you and dad so much! ," said Carrie with tears in her eyes, as she was hugging her mom goodbye. "Don't cry, i promise i will write to you every week ok?'' her mom said sweetly, trying to cheer her up while holding back tears of her own. Carrie nodded and tried to smile. "You too Carson Tailors, you're a 15 year old boy, stop crying." said their mom. "Crying? Who's crying?" whimpered Carson, grinning through his tears he didn't knew were there. They waved goodbye to their mother and walked towards the school, holding back tears.

     "Pathetic, crying in front of the school like that, just like preschoolers do. "said Gemma Spencer, staring at the teary Tailors siblings. "I know right, such attention seekers." said Kennedy Joan. "Come on guys, they probably never left their mother's side before." said Lilia Baylors. "Shush girls, look, that guy over there is so hot."said Leona Grace. She pointed to an attractive dark haired boy. "Should I go talk to him?" said Leona. "Oh my god, Yes, girlfriend!" Gemma said excitedly. Leona fixed her hair and walked to him. "Hey, whats your name?" Leona said casually. "Samuel. Samuel Dillins. What's yours?" said the dark haired boy. He then winks at her. Leona giggled, "I'm Leona Grace ." He moved closer to her, "What a nice name! Tell me Leona, are you free this weekend? I would like to invite you to the movies." 

     "Invite Leona to the movies?" asked Arii Hawkins with her eyebrows crossed. Samuel sighs and looked back at Leona. "I'll be right back.". Leona smirked and nodded. Samuel pulled Arii aside to the locker behind him. "Look, we need to break up.". Arii turned red. "ALL BECAUSE OF THAT LEONA SLUT?? I SHOULD'VE KNOWN. YOU'RE A FUCKBOY AFTER ALL!!" Arii yelled at her now-ex-boyfriend. "Whatever, you weren't much fun anyways." said Samuel in an annoyed tone. He walked away from the steaming Arii behind him and pulled Leona with him.

Arii's POV

     I turned around, and walked the opposite direction from that asshole, Samuel. Suddenly, as much as I hate to admit it, my anger turned into sadness. I walked to the ballroom and tried to find my best friend, Sebastian Archers. I spotted him on the 9th row from the front. I hurried to him and sat next to him. When I sat down, Sebastian asked me, "are you okay? You seem a little down". I looked at him in the eye. He seemed pretty concerned. So, I told him everything. "How can he do that to you?" he said, hardly controlling  his anger, "i will beat that guy up right n-". Just then, I stopped him," well, later, the ceremony is about to begin."

Narrator's POV

     A tall woman went up the stage. She spoke into a microphone that she was given. "Please be quiet everyone,". The students stopped talking, and the woman continued, "My name is Samantha Jordan, but you can call me Ms.Samantha. Welcome to Maskerville IS, a school for all the descendants of the Constellations. The constellations we can see in the night skies, using a telescope of course, can take shape as a human. They come down to Earth, once every century, each to find 2 descendants, a baby boy and a baby girl. Once they reached High school, they were sent to our school, Maskerville IS. If these descendants successfully graduated at our school, they will be sent to Camp Astro, and continue their studies for 4 years, then if they graduate there as well, they will live on as Constellaes.". The students started whispering to each other excitedly." Constellaes are people who has powers. Some Constellaes become heroes to fight evil who intrudes our planet, some constellaes have careers like normal humans, but will be very famous for having magical abilities."
