-time skip-

After a week Joanna arrived back home, there was a lot of tension between her, me and our parents. You see, Jo has been kind of distant from me when she first got back from the hospital.

She kept avoiding me, avoided talking to me, hanging out in any type of way. I'm just confused, did something happen when mom and dad visited her? That no one told me about?

I am currently working on an English assignment we got, John was with me on Facetime. The only other person that was in the house with me was Jo. Our parents were visiting our neighbors,

"So has anything happened that might give you the clue as to why she's avoiding you?" John asked, looking in the camera then back at his computer screen.

"No, she has just been avoiding me so much. To the point where I kind of just want to walk over and ask her. She isn't talking to me at all, even Brittany said she noticed a change in her behavior after talking with her." I responded, tapping my pencil on the table.

A little update on my cousins, Rikko is hoping to pass this school year with an A or B, it all depends on how much work he puts into it. And Brittany came out as Bisexual, way to go Bri!

She also managed to befriend her crush, now all we need is a big confession scene happening and we'll have a happy ever after for her. Until they stop loving each other, but I bet it'll work out. From what I heard they are getting along really well.

"Then why don't you walk over and talk to her, you idiot?" John complained, pouting playfully at me. As if that'd be a way to get me to talk to her.

"What? So that she can tell mom and dad that I tried something? She seems more down, almost like she's depressed or something. I'll ask tonight, maybe. When we have dinner. That's the best option." I thought out loud, zoning out as I kept scrolling through pictures.

"How come dinner is the best option? Aren't your parents gonna be near by? They'll see you trying to talk to her. And that would just end badly." he said, hoping to change my mind.

"Good point, but my parents usually watch some show on TV during dinner, so they finish up earlier and then go to watch it. Which means me and Jo will be left alone in the dinning room. Giving us space to talk it out. I don't want to bring her into my room and talk, cause who knows what she'll come up with." I looked over at my clock, sighing softly.

"What's with that sigh? Something up?" John asked, a bit concerned.

"Nah, it's just. I thought she'd stay the same normal Jo from before. Always joking around with me and the others. Hanging out with us when we play video games. Now she barely talks to me, like they might've told her some fucked up shit about me." I answered, looking up at John's face on my phone screen.

"I mean, your mom did look like she'd love to beat you up, on the day of the accident. Who knows what kind of stuff they said to her to get their revenge. For all we know, they might've lied about the whole accident when the nurses and doctors weren't around." he mentioned.

I nodded my head, looked down at my paper then back up. "I think I'll be going now, still gotta finish up Math and what not." I mumbled curses under my breath.

"Okay, see ya tomorrow then." John smiled, ending the call.

If only I knew we'd be seeing each other much sooner than intended.....
