Hey guys
I haven't exactly been very active in my updates but before I publish this chapter, I'm hoping to also write the next three in order to have a semi-decent update schedule.
Above is another song that I like ^ (I keep doing this ahahha)
This chapter is a filler chapter which expands on the relationship between Natalia and hayden.
I hope you enjoy and please vote, comment and share this story

I find my fingers repeatedly tapping against the steering wheel of my car, throwing wary glances towards a livid mason in my rear view mirror every once in a while as Lia talks our ears off with pointless chatter about the latest school gossip in the passenger seat beside me to try and fill in the silence.

"So then Bailey put dye in his shampoo which is why his hair was green-"

"Lia you need to pay attention to the directions you're supposedly giving me because I've gone around this roundabout three times now" I interrupt her while laughing at her blushed face.

"Sorry, turn right here" she says proceeding to turn to mason " you could've told her" she states with an eye roll, merely receiving a grunt in response.

I suppress my sigh at his nonchalant response and take the right turn onto a road that looks as though it could've been taken straight out of a Hollywood movie.

"And um" I gulp due to the feeling of intimidation flowing through my mind upon seeing the sheer height of these castles which people seem to call their home "where do I turn now" I question, briefly seeing mason smirk through the rear view mirror.

Arrogant donkey. Yes I still don't like swearing.

"No turning, this is our road. Our house is the third on the left" as she says this my gaze flickers to the largest and most prestigious looking house on the road which is apparently their home.

I fight to keep my jaw from hanging open as I pull up to the ten foot gate and Lia rolls down her window, pressing the buzzer of the intercom.

"Daxby residence, John speaking, how may i be of assistance?" Comes a sharp accented voice from the intercom.

"Hey Johnny it's Lia, open up" she laughs before quickly adding "and quit acting so posh when my dad isn't around" I let out a breathless laugh at this comment, feeling a little less overwhelmed by everything before me.

With a loud buzzing noise, the gates slowly swing open revealing the intricately detailed landscape, that seems to not have even a leaf out of place. I park where Lia tells me to, in the garage next to an array of expensive looking cars as she says " please don't think we're snobs none of these are ours, I mean mason doesn't even live in our house because he thinks it's too extensive." She rambles blushing.

Mason rolls his eyes at her rambling and yanks his door open, grabbing his damaged phone on the way, slamming the door with so much force that the entire car shook.

"Wellll I guess he's still mad" I say with a low whistle to which Lia laughs.

" don't worry about him hayden, I don't know what his deal is, he can easily afford a new phone and I've broken his before and he never reacted like this." She sighs ," I don't know if you guys got off on the wrong foot or something, but he will have to warm up to you eventually because I plan on keeping you around " she nudges me smiling before muttering a let's go and jumping out of the passenger seat.

I take a deep breath to calm down the little nerves that remain and hop out of the car. I follow Lia up the path to where mason is waiting , obviously having forgotten his key.
