Fontaine eyes slowly eased their way open, for some reason today she felt happy, like nothing in the world could harm her. She felt,well, safe. Smiling, she slipped her wetsuit on and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast. When she got there there was pancakes already stacked and waiting on a plate in the middle of the table.
"Finn?" Fontaine asked entering.
"Hey" Finn smiled coming out from behind a corner. Her emerald eyes latched onto his sapphire ones. Finn kissed her forehead lightly before taking her hands and leading her to the table. She blushed as she sat down.
"I thought you deserved a nice breakfast, I also have a few surprises for you today" Fontaine blushed and smiled.
"Finn you're too sweet" Fontaine kissed him lightly. He smiled and sat down opposite her. The two ate their breakfast and headed over to the bridge. They gazed outside at the ocean surrounding them. Fontaine brushed her hands through her short hair. The pink stripe glowed. They knew that today they had to try and find Fontaine's family.
"Look, we have to find them, I have an idea" Fontaine walked over to the controls and entered a random code in the computer. A map with a glowing dot, a flashing dot.
"What's that?" Finn asked, Fontaine smiled at him.
"That is the last known location of my family"
"Let's go then" Fontaine set a course. Eventually they ended up on a desert island. Fontaine and Finn hopped into the Rover and headed over to the island. There was many a cave on the island, and screams coming from each one.
This was the right place.
