I took my time in drinking him in as he stood across the mirror, straightening up the collar of his white shirt. After gelling his caramel brown hair, he finally turned around. On seeing me, he widened his eyes making me grin.

"Wow..."

"Thank you." I tugged a strand of wave behind my ear.

"No, I mean...wow..waiting was really worth it."

"I know!" I grinned and looked down at my red satin off shoulder A-line dress. "But there's a confusion."

"What?" He smiled and walked closer.

"Which ones should I wear?" I showed him the ruby as well as sapphire earings.

"I think these red ones...I mean the ruby." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"Why is that so?"

"Cause they'll match with this." He held out a pendant. Wait! It's the pendant. I'd seem it at the store yesterday. The teardrop ruby pendant which was so expensive, it could actually make tears drop.

"How did y-"

"Shh...turn around." I did as he said. "I saw you looking at it with your beautiful brown eyes. And I knew you wouldn't let me buy it." He continued in a husky voice. As he secured the lock, his fingers brushed against my back, giving me goosebumps all over.

"That's why I bought it secretly. Bella, you need to understand this. Your happiness comes to me before those stupid dollars. Your smile is what makes me happy."

"You'll make me cry." I blinked off tears from my eyes.

"Please don't. I can't afford to wait for hours till you apply the liner back again."

"You know the struggle?"

"I have a sister as well, you know."

I turned around to face him and found him looking at me with a gaze that was enough to melt hearts.

"It's beautiful." I whispered walking closer to the mirror.

"Not as beautiful as you." He stated making me blush.

"So should we go?"

"Ugh..can you help me with something?"

"Sure," I shrugged "except kissing."

"Yeah..I know, with the lipstick." He rolled his eyes. "For now, help me with the tie please."

"Sure." I mumbled and took the tie from his hands. I stood on my tiptoes to match his height.

"How do you know how to tie it but I don't?"

"My Dad taught that to me."

"Oh."

"It's done." I placed my hands on his blue suit jacket.

"Let's go then."

"Look at you! Looking so cute together." Miss. Lily gushed as we descended down the stairs.

"Thank you." We said in unison.

"And you finally found someone for the tie, huh?" She acknowledged while Julian, as usual, blushed. "Have fun!"

"You want me to get something for you?"

"Nope. Wait, can I go spend the night at my daughter's?"

"Why not?" Julian shrugged.

"Thank you so much."

"Miss. Lily, you already know you don't need to thank me."

"Okayyy. I'll just pack a dress than." She started rushing to her room.
