My Older Brother's Best Friend... Wait What Older Brother?! -Chapter 17

After we finish texting, I put my phone on its car charger and lay down in the back seats of my car. Minutes later, sleep takes control and puts me in a deep sleep, dreaming of Scarlet.......Wait, its a nightmare about Scarlet and May!!!

===Dreaming===

"Hey Alex. What's up?" I ask as he walks towards me. He looks at me with disgust all over his face and continues walking down the school hallway. I hurry after him and stop in front of him. He doesn't look at me and tries to walk around me, but I stop him. "What's wrong, Alex? Why are you acting so weird?"
"Because your not my girlfriend anymore. In fact, you were NEVER my girlfriend. It was only a way to get the girl that I love, and now that I've got her don't talk to me anymore." He states. I stare up at him in disbelief as I remember all the things he did for me and said to me. Every word he said was a lie, everything he did was just an act. He never meant any of it! He never was a real friend. He only acted like he was, just so he could get May. It was all a plan, but what really sucks is that I knew about the plan. He asked me to help him and I agreed to it, but I didn't know that I was going to lose him completely.
Just as I feel the tears begin to pour, May comes up and kisses Alex on the lips which he happily kisses back. "Hey babe." Alex says as they part from the kiss and wraps his arm around her waist. She smiles up at him then looks over at me.
"Oh my god! Scarlet, what's wrong?! Who hurt you?! Tell me!" She asks coming up to me and giving me a hug. I glance over at Alex to find him glaring at me. I knew exactly what he was thinking too, he doesn't what me to tell May anything about the plan.
I manage to pull my self free from her arms without a word or sound from me. Taking a few steps backwards, I keep my eyes on the floor, hoping no one will see my face.
"I'm fine." I whisper, then turn around and walk out of school. Once I get away from school, I let the tear flow down my face as I head home.
===Later that night===
I lay in my bed snuggled up in the blankets, trying to forget about Alex. But it's impossible for me to forget. He's too, I hate to say it now but, he's too perfect to forget. When we were acting like we were together, he would act like he actually liked being with me, and when we went on 'dates', he always held my hand or had his arm around me and he would kiss me but he never wanted to push me to do something that I didn't want to do. He respected me. He protected me. He cared for me. And h-
