Adopted by McQueen (humanized) Book 2

Chapter 3

McQueen, Chloe, Mater, Luigi, Guido, Sarge, and Fillmore then got to work. Ramone repainted McQueen's car and the others packed. Everyone went to the airport and boarded the plane. McQueen sat with Mater, Luigi sat with Guido, and Sarge sat with Filmore. Chloe sat in the seat behind McQueen; she was sitting alone.

McQueen and Mater were watching movies and laughing while eating snacks. Chloe had a horrible feeling coming from her mind. She felt that Lightning, the famous racer, her guardian for almost 5 years, had started to forget her existence. But she ignored the feeling.

~arriving in Tokyo Japan~

They had a private bus to go around Tokyo. Everyone admired the lights. Chloe loved how everything looked, but that feeling was still haunting her. McQueen and Mater saw that on a billboard it said "Lightning McClean". They laughed harder than they could breathe.

Chloe saw a billboard with Francesco on it and she just sneered at the sight of him. Tokyo has crazy vending machines for everything. Clothes, shoes, and everything. They went to play and McQueen and Mater were having fun while Chloe just stared at the floor. They also went to a Wrestling match.

Chloe didn't like how they dressed so she turned away from it. Finally, they made it to the World Grand Prix Party. They were greeted by paparazzi and took tons of pictures. They walked in and the place was huge.

Lightning went up to Chloe. She smiled, thinking that he would spend a little time with her.

"Alright Chloe please be on your best behavior." He said.

Her smile faded.

"That's what you tell after hours of neglect." She mumbled under her breath.

"What?" He asked.

"Nothing." She turned away.

"Hey Lightning!" 2 voices called.

"Lewis! Jeff!" McQueen smiled walking over to them.

Mater walked up to Chloe, "you alright?"

"I'm fine." She answered.

He placed his hand on her shoulder, "I know Lightning has been neglecting you. I'm sure I can talk to him if ya want."

"Not at this time. This is his racing party after all. Let him enjoy it." She replied.

"Oh Lightning McQueen!" Francesco said from afar.

Chloe face palmed herself, "oh lord."

"Come on let's go to McQueen." Mater said.

They walked over to Francesco and McQueen.

"Nice to meet you Francesco." McQueen said.

"Nice to meet you too. That's very good looking but not as good as I thought but still good." He said.

"Well that's not very nice." Chloe said.

"And this must be your daughter." Francesco smirked.

"Yes and she promised me she be on her best behavior." McQueen glared at her.

I didn't promise shit, Chloe wanted to say.

"I must say you are quite small to be with us on the racing career." Francesco said.

"I'm 13 not 50." Chloe spat.

"Chloe!" McQueen replied.

"It's alright McQueen I like her sense of humor." Francesco chuckled.

"I'll take Chloe so she can help me get drinks for you guys." Mater said.

Mater and Chloe walked away from them.

"Chloe it seems like this neglect us getting worse and worse." Mater said, "remember I will talk to McQueen if ya want me to. He'll understand."

"Oh I'm sorry." Chloe spoke sarcastically, "I'm getting fussed at for sticking up for myself when some Italian flag is insulting my height, my appearance, and my words!"

Mater eyes widened at her response. Chloe sighed.

"I'll be right back. I need to clear my head." She said and walked away.

Chloe walked in the bathroom and looked in the mirror. She didn't look crazy or tired. She just looked emotionless. She turned on the sink and splashed water in her face. She turned off the sink and wiped her face dry.

She walked out of the bathroom. She heard fighting from the back corner and saw 3 guys fighting. One guy knocked the 2 other guys out. He noticed Chloe.

"Are you Chloe?" He asked, "McQueen's adopted daughter?"

"Yeah?"

He handed her a flash drive, "take this and don't let anyone take it. Villains will be looking for this. So please stay out of sight."

And with that said, he disappeared. Chloe was left speechless with a flash drive that had who knows what on it.
