Chapter 10

Lighting parked next to his tent and immediately got out of his car.

"Chloe?!?"

"Lightning stay away!" Chloe yelled.

"Chloe I'm so sorry for what i did!" He said running up to her.

Chloe then started running onto the race track, "McQueen stop! You're going to get hurt!"

"I know I hurt you and I feel awful for it!" He said.

If Chloe had time to face palm she would've done it by now.

"Stay away!" She yelled.

"Never!" He yelled back trying to grab her.

"Jet pack!" Chloe yelled.

Lightning grabbed a hold of Chloe before the jet pack went off.

"Whoa oh my god!" Lightning yelled hanging onto her for dear life.

"You're going to get hurt Lightning let go!" Chloe yelled.

"No! For 2 reasons! I'm in the air and because I never want to lose you again!" He yelled back.

Chloe rolled her eyes and landed. Finn and Holley ran to her.

"Chloe we have to find a way to get that bomb off of you." Holley said looking up ways to do it.

"A bomb????" Lightning questioned.

"Mrs Nelson stepped it into me so I could never be adopted again!" Chloe said.

"Mrs Nelson????"

"Oh my god." Chloe face palmed.

Guido threw a tied up Zundapp and Nelson on the road. Chloe glared at them both.

"Deactivate the bomb Zundapp and Nelson!" Finn yelled.

"I was not the one who activated it and neither did she." Zundapp smirked.

Holley pointed a taser at him, "say it."

"Deactivate." He smiled.

The bomb beeped, "voice denied."

She pointed the taser at Nelson, "now you."

"Deactivate." She spoke.

The bomb beeped, "voice denied."

The bomb minuses a minute and was now at 3 minutes. Everyone gasped.

"Told you we didn't do it." Zundapp said.

Holley tased Zundapp and Nelson.

"You read my mind." Finn smirked.

"It's a gift." She replied.

Chloe thought for a second, "I have an idea."

"Tell is where to go." Finn said.

They then ran where Miles Axelrod was and the police immediately saw the bomb on Chloe. The queen was there too.

"Bomb!" They yelled pointing guns at Chloe.

"Hey it's not my fault I have a bomb on me! It's Miles'!" Chloe yelled pointing at him.

"Me? You've got to be crazy." Miles laughed nervously.

"You only wear suites that are Givenchy and you can only buy those in Paris! You've made allinol just so you could kill racers and McQueen just because little miss sweet Nelson told you so because she wanted me to rot in the orphanage! Tell me if I'm wrong!" Chloe yelled getting close to him.

"You are a delusional girl!" He yelled.

"Am I? AM I MILES? Or am I speaking the truth of what you're hiding!"

The bomb was at 10 seconds.

"Chloe!" McQueen yelled worriedly.

"You are nuts! I can't believe you did this at age 13 DEACTIVATE!" Miles yelled.

"Bomb deactivated. Have a nice day Sir Axelrod." The bomb spoke.

Finn grabbed a blow torch and burned the lock off. The bomb belt slid off and Chloe sighed in relief. Lightning immediately picked up Chloe and hugged her tightly. His tensed body finally relaxed as he knew she was safe. Chloe slowly hugged him back.

"I'm so glad your safe." He whispered.
