This was out of the ordinary.
Several scanners indicated a burst of energy that had been sourced back to Warrior Falls in Wakanda, the readings showed an immense source of energy that derived most of it's power from magic. T'Kira expected to find an artifact or at least a weapon of ancient magic not a person. And not the person who stood before him.
N'Jadaka.
Under any other circumstance, he'd slaughter him on the spot but he couldn't, he couldn't bring himself to do it for a few reasons.
The first was that if he killed N'Jadaka and he came back to life then killing him again would probably result in his resurrection again.
The second reason was that N'Jadaka had little to no memory of any of his transgressions against wakanda or against the royal family. It wouldn't be fair to execute a clueless man.
The final reason was the most overwhelming reason why T'Kira hadn't acted on the instinct to kill yet. N'Jadaka was a child again. T'Kira would never kill a child no matter what.
Everything brought before T'Kira aligned towards a few conclusions but after some careful thought he came to one hypothesis. N'Jadaka had been reincarnated. By who and why were the most important questions.
N'Jadaka was in the middle of a pool of water that had gathered within one of the cliffs on warrior falls, he looked like an adolescent by what T'Kira could tell, fifteen maybe sixteen years of age if T'Kira guessed right. His hair was in the same style of long dreadlocks that he wore before his death. His skin was unbruised and it wasn't scarred, it was like they had never seen battle before.
His eyes however, his eyes were those of the eyes of a warrior, strong and powerful but whether this warrior was going to try and kill T'Kira again or remain calm was the question. They hadn't spoken much, T'Kira just gave an introduction and explanations as to who N'Jadaka was and where he was. He didn't see the need to lie and he wasn't going to either way. Any question N'Jadaka had, he answered truthfully, not withholding any answers. T'Kira was in observation mode, watching, listening and taking note of all of N'Jadaka's expressions, movements, quirks and even the sound of his voice when he spoke. He wasn't lying at all. He had no idea who he was and all the destruction and chaos he caused. He didn't remember almost killing T'Challa, he didn't remember T'Kira killing him. He didn't remember his spiritual connection to the goddess K'Liluna nor did he remember that he had been linked to Bast through his consumption of the heart shaped herb.
After a while T'Kira had contacted T'Challa, Shuri and Hunter and they had rushed to the scene immediately. After a long discussion, they took N'Jadaka back to the palace with them.
N'Jadaka proved to be reluctant to socialise with anyone let alone speak to someone while he was there. He only spoke to T'Kira and T'Kira begrudgingly conversed with young man. T'Kira's conversations with N'Jadaka proved to be surprisingly entertaining to the prince, N'Jadaka was intelligent and sported a sharp mind, his diction and wit being made useful as he engaged in conversation with T'Kira. After their talks became more frequent it wasn't long before he started to interact with others in the palace. He'd gotten along with shuri, he'd managed to get T'Challa to talk to him and by the end of the month, he was following everyone around even hunter. From labs to training grounds and cities to small towns, N'Jadaka seemed content with their company, it was honestly ,refreshing to not have anyone trying to kill you.
T'Kira had left N'Jadaka a few times when Tony came to visit Wakanda, of course T'Kira introduced them both to each other and the two while they started off shakily were quite the duo when they fought or argued on the same side.
N'Jadaka had been placed within a separate wing of the palace and was being watched by the Dora Milaje and the king's guard, at six in the evening every day N'Jadaka would be summoned to his quarters to stay for the rest of the night, he would only be allowed to leave that room the next morning once either T'Kira or T'Challa had awoken and even then he was to only be escorted to his destination by the Dora Milaje. T'Kira knew the boy was of no threat to Wakanda, he had no memory of his training nor did he seem to have any of the cybernetic enhancements that he showed before. This wasn't necessary but it was as it was. It was unjust.
