Serenity chose to go next. I sat there excitement sort of taking me over. I wondered what sort of tale she was going to tell me.
"Do you like nature Blake?" Serenity asked me.
I was kind of confused by the question but I still managed to answer her, "Yeah, why not?"
"What's your favourite berry?" She asked.
"Um - Razzyberries? Um how is this related to your life?" I replied, my head could not comprehend why she was asking these questions.
"Because nature was like my mother growing up" Serenity replied, the Leafeon sighed and sat down.
I sort of understood what she meant now.
"All my life I tried searching for my parents... I never found them. I was disappointed... But I didn't let it stop me from growing up, I learned to read - Hunt - Evade those who would want to harm me - and most importantly... Protect myself from humans who would try to kidnap me from my home... I thought I made a living for myself, then came a real test... Saving my friends. I was out picking berries when I heard distressed calls coming from the plains, Pokémon like me, innocent, scared... Being caged by humans, it was - very terrifying... But I didn't just stand there, I gathered some other Pokémon in the immediate area and together, we freed all the Pokémon that were captured. After that, I sorta became famous and evolved into a Leafeon. So you see any Pokémon greeting me or something, that's why"
When Serenity mentioned cages, I knew that could only mean Team Rocket was behind what ever the hell happened. It kind of made me sick hearing about that, but at least she did the right thing and saved her friends.
"At least they're safe" I said to her.
"Yeah, at least they are" Serenity replied, an unsure look on her face.
I wanted to ask her what she was so unsure about, however she had done enough explaining so I let her step down. So now it was Snow's turn to share. I still felt excited about hearing stories, but for some reason, the Glaceon looked a little depressed... So why was he so down? I guess I would have to hear his story to find out why.
