We were different.
We were different down to our core, each cell in our body at odds. Our species, our thinking, our speaking, our ranks. With us, opposites couldn't attract, because there was no logical situation that anyone would ever compare the two of us.
We belonged in two separate worlds. This is what I- and everyone else, believed.
I didn't know it yet, but he was going to change that belief. He was going to change every idea that had been ingrained into me, to help me unlearn each detrimental indoctrination I'd received.
He was going to rewrite my story- until it became our story.
He was going to change me whether I wanted it or not.
And just maybe, I was going to change him too.
