Of all the people Trunks expected to see that morning, a brunette clad in a tight yellow dress was not it. The girl leaned against the wall, scrolling through her phone seemingly disinterested. "W-Wha..." Trunks stated, disoriented by the strong perfume and randomness of the situation. "Do I know you?" Trunks asked.

"Do you not remember?" The brunette asked, leaning closer to the hybrid. "I called you a week ago about Marron!"

Trunks looked down at the woman and quickly put two and two together. "You're Valese!" Trunks exclaimed, "How'd you find my apartment?"

Valese rolled her eyes turning her phone off and dropping it in her purse. "Well, not like it's hard to figure out," she began, "you live in the same building as my best friend...you're the CEO of Capsule Corporation...doesn't take a genius to assume you live in the penthouse."

Trunks pressed his lips together, upset with himself he couldn't figure it all himself and opened the door for the brunette. "So uh...what do you want?" He asked, peeking over her shoulder as she came inside, "is something wrong with Marron?"

Valese nodded, slumping down on his couch, crossing her legs. "You see, my best friend is an idiot," Valese stated opening her phone again, scrolling through her social media, "and so are you."

Trunks quickly grit his teeth, "Hey! Marron isn't an idiot, and I'll have you know, lady, I've done huge business moves that someone of your IQ level only wishes they could comprehend," Trunks quickly defended. "What makes you such a genius?"

Valese rolled her eyes, rising from the couch, flipping her hair back. "Listen, I didn't come here to get insulted by someone who's ego is too delicate to handle me," Valese continued. "I'm here because I'm tired of you two beating around the bush about this whole thing."

Trunks quirked a brow, "beating around the bush about what?" He asked nervously.

Valese rolled her eyes, arms crossed as she scoffed at the hybrid. "You expect me to fall for that sack of shit?" Valese asked, "You obviously want to fuck her." Trunks was quick to blush at the vulgarity that spilled out of the brunette's mouth. His face turned beet red. How could this be Marron's best friend, the girl was so blunt about things. He thought back to the revealing dress she wore the night they met again, recalling the very conflicting emotions that struck him in the chest.

It was something he'd never experienced before, he was returning from an arduous day at work. Trunks was exhausted from the everyday battle that was appealing to his mother. But as the elevator doors opened, all dread of another uninteresting evening melted away. There was an individual who was bound to give him a lot to think about. She backed into her corner, clutching her arm hiding her breasts in some futile effort to seem modest. Loose blonde curls and a wide-eyed, innocent expression laced on her face. Her chest flushed, glistening from the lightest sheen of sweat. To Trunks, she seemed so familiar, like someone he'd met a long time ago.

But as he connected his eyes with hers, he recognized her in an instant, "Marron?"

He swore the slightest hint of arousal seeped into that confined elevator that night.

Marron? How could that be her?

Trunks could have sworn that a year ago if you told him his childhood friend became such a beautiful...well...woman he's fall....

Valese sighed, waving her hand in front of the hybrid.

"Hello!" She exclaimed, "Earth to Romeo." He blinked out of his state of catatonia, glaring at the brunette who so rudely snapped him out of his nostalgia. "So tell me, you like my best friend, right?" Valese asked, turning her head slightly.
