Are We Still Together? : The Drifting of The Ice

  Oikawa waited for you outside your place and you greet him the first thing in the morning. He smiled at you. "Tooru, good morning~" tired at first, cheerful when with Oikawa, oh how he changed you.

  Oikawa chuckled as he lifted his hand and stroked your slightly messy hair to calm it down, "good morning sleepyhead. Did you comb your hair?"

  You had to admit, you didn't. You were rushing to see him, you wouldn't care less about your hair. "Not really..."

  Oikawa sighed and fixed your hair, taking a look again, he grinned and nodded in satisfaction, "so much better."

  You just punched his arm lightly as a grin spread on your face. He was treating you so nice in the early morning and it already made your day.

  "Tooru-chan~~" a voice chimed. It definitely wasn't yours. You and Oikawa turned to where the voice had came from and you saw a girl running towards you both. She pushed you away and practically pounced onto Oikawa, her arms wrapped around him as she gave him a tight hug. You were rather shocked, but Oikawa's face said otherwise.

  Oikawa had a grin on his face, a wider one. His hands moved to hug the girl, "Sami-chan!" You thought it was going to last forever but Oikawa soon let go of her and he introduced her to you, "this is Samizaki. A childhood friend of mine! Sami-chan! This is my girlfriend! (L/N) (F/N)!"

  "(L/N)-chan~ it's a pleasure to meet you!" That's what she said but her eyes said something totally different. An 'Oh, are you?' look was found. You ignored that and just smiled, "I feel the same."

  The three of you walked to school as Samizaki walked between the both of you, clinging onto Oikawa who didn't seem to mind one bit. Apparently, she was attending your scjool now... You wanted to cling onto Oikawa as well but it just seemed rude... So instead, you kept walking farther and farther away. Oikawa and Samizaki talked and laughed, he seemed to have forgotten about your existence. Heartbroken, you mumbled, "I'll be going ahead first." And sped up.

  Oikawa didn't notice at all.

  During lunch break, you went to the rooftop, and there they were sitting, eating and chatting away happily. And you decided against sitting with them. They do have some catching up to do... That girl seemed to have left for a really long time.

  You sat alone.

  After school, you decided to stay back. You wandered around the school. Your boyfriend was walking his childhood friend home under the rain. And that's when you noticed the rain and how you didn't bring your umbrella. Shit.

  You cursed softly at yourself for forgetting something stupid. But you stayed at school, if you arrived home wet, questions were going to shower you more than the rain did.

  It was really late when the rain had stopped. You walked back. And that time, was when Oikawa seemed to have remembered you. Your phone rang and you picked up, "hello? (F/N)-chan? I'm so sorry! Sami-chan had to leave early so I walked her home first cause we couldn't wait for you! Are you home yet?" You didn't say anything for a whole second. "(F/N)-chan?" You held back tears. "Yeah?" You barely managed. "Are you okay?"

  "Yeah."

  "Are you home yet?"

  "No..."

  "Do you want me to-"

  "No!"

  "(F/N)-chan..."

  "Look. I'm fine. I'll be back soon."

  "Bu-"

  You hung up. And tears started to pour and so did the rain, once again. You stood in the rain, drenched and soaked to your skin. You didn't know what to do. Oikawa didn't seem to care anymore. The girl was going to have both of you part ways. You decided to just stand there. It was comfortable. In the middle of the road, the rain pouring, the moon shining, the stars covered by the dark clouds.

  It felt lonely. The right feeling for you at that moment.

  A loud honk and you turned, a truck drove your way and you jumped out of the way just in time. Giving a small yelp. You sat on the ground, your heart racing.

  Why did you jump out of the way? Was what you asked yourself.

  The next morning, you woke up with a burning fever. No one called you so you suspected that Oikawa had left with Samizaki. You only stayed in bed and didn't move an inch. The bed was your only friend. The plushie you got from Oikawa wasn't helping. It made you feel uneasy.

  A phone call.

  "Hello?"

  "(F/N)-chan!!! I'm so sorry!! I forgot to walk you to school today! Are you h-"

  "Again..."

  "I'm sorry? Did you say something? I didn't hear..."

  "Nothing... It's fine. You would've been wasting your time anyways. I'm going to have to stay in bed..."

  "What? Why?!"

  "It's none of your concern."

  "What do you mea-"

  "You don't care and you don't have to! Okay?! You don't have to!"

  You hung up and buried yourself in your blanket, it was all you could do that time. Other than cry and cry and cry.
