1 Year Anniversary

A special day.

The day of the anniversary with the stupid idiot of yours and also, your birthday. Your family had decided to take a day off and finally spend time with you and of course, your parents weren't really glad with the fact that a guy would be coming over.

Oikawa arrived anyways, and the both of you sat before your parents as they bombarded Oikawa with questions.

"When did this start?"

"What have you done?"

"Have you done it?"

"How long has it been?"

"Did you make her cry?"

"What do you want to be in the future?"

"Do you promise to keep our daughter safe forever?"

Oikawa answered most of the questions truthfully, and yet, the ones he wasn't sure, he left the answers short and simple. The last question of 'forever', Oikawa gladly and seriously answered, "forever is a long time, and a long time I gladly accept with all my heart."

Your parents were quiet as you timidly looked at them, only to see a warm, gentle smile on your mother's lips and a satisfied look on your father's face. Oikawa was rather proud of himself. He had finally completed the first task of dating you.

There would be more difficult challenges in the future, but he knew, it would be worth it. There'd be doubt, regret, sadness, but most importantly, happiness.

You had dinner together and finally both of you had your alone time in your room. Your parents allowed it, very hesitantly, considering no 'sounds' were to make it's way out of the room.

Oikawa played with your hair as you sat on the ground, with him on your bed, running his fingers through your locks.

You still couldn't believe how long the both of you have been together. It was something unimaginable. But the one thing that surprised you the most was how much you've changed, since going out with Oikawa. You've gained more confidence, more control, ever since being with the idiot you knew.

"(F/N)-chan~" you heard the boy whine behind you and you turned to face him, "what is it...?"

"I want a kiss."

You sighed. "Fine." You leaned in, as he leaned forward, ready for a kiss on the lips. And you left a peck on his cheek. "(F/N)-CHAN!" He was pouting, little tears found in the corner of his eyes.

"Pfft. Fine."

And you placed a gentle kiss on his lips. The warm sensation back into your body.

The door clicked and your father was there- Oikawa pulled back, at the same time with you, and your father only stared, looking at you and the other, he was raging. "Oikawa... TOORU!"

Oikawa mumbled a word you knew well, "shit."

That was one hell of an anniversary.
