Trouble

August 12, 2008, Gabe's POV

I grabbed the video camera and sat down on my bed, I turned it on and smiled, "Hello Violet, so you are supposed to come late today or early tomorrow. I can't wait to see you. I want to hold you and teach you how to annoy people. I want you to see you bed room which looks adorable. I saw this giant bunny stuffed animal at Walmart and they had it in purple. I, of course got it for you along with some more stuff. I have to say that these videos were a good idea for me to do. I know you can understand me now and you might be able to remember this too but doing this makes sure that all the special moments are going to be here forever. I honestly wish that everyone could know about you because I just feel like your going to be such a good person in the world. I think that you'll make people laugh and help them be happy. I can't wait to hold you in my arms, but sadly I need to go, bye Violet! I love you, can't wait to see you!" I shut off the camera and rubbed my swollen belly. I told the rest of them that she should be here today or tomorrow so I could hear them running around downstairs, I'm guess trying to baby prof or something. I looked down at my belly, "You know that if your dad knew about you he would either be freaking out or acting all lovei dovei. I know he would love you, I know he would." I don't really have much to do since I'm just waiting for everything to start so I decided to take a nap. Having to act like a human is kinda fun, food tastes better, sleep is awesome, it's just fun. Must have been a few hours then Castiel walked into my room.

"Gabriel? So I was thinking that if anything goes wrong, what do you want us to do?" He looked at me and tilted his head.

"You mean if I die?" I sat up.

"Yes..." he looked down.

"Well you guys just need to take care of her." I said as I looked over to the clock, 9:30 p.m., anytime now, "Do you think I'm going to die?"

"Not really but Samandriel said I should ask. I think your strong and I think you'll make it." He looked back at me and smiled, "Have the contractions started yet?"

"Nope not yet." I rubbed my belly and smiled.

"Ok well I'll be up in five minutes to check on you again." He said and walked out of the room. I laid back down and stared at the ceiling. I felt a sharp pain and laughed.

"Did you just want to wait till your Uncle Castile left." I rubbed my belly and looked around. I got up slowly and grabbed some pillows. I want to be comfy if I'm going to be in pain. I made my bed comfy and made it so I was kinda propped up. I waited the five minutes for Castiel to come back but he didn't. After a bit there was another pain, it hurt more than the first but it still wasn't that bad. Since they weren't that bad I thought that I could record at least one more video.

I grab the camera again and turned it on so I was in frame, "Hey sweetie, so you're almost here. I can't believe it. I wish you could have a normal life but that's something that neither sides of your family have. I just-" I had to pause, the contractions were definitely getting worse, "I'm sorry, like I said you're on your way and you're making sure that I don't have to wait long. I know I said this before when I wasn't recording but I really do think that if your..... other parent could be here and see you. I just know that- Ah-ah-ah ok, ok, that one hurt a little more. I didn't like that but back to what I was saying was that I know that they would love you. They would want to hold you as bad as I do and they would've helped decorate your room. I mean if they were here they wouldn't have let me eat some of the stuff I ate but I made sure I was being relatively healthy. They would be proud of me, they would've been so excited to see me eat a salad. I miss them, I really do- agh!" I almost dropped the camera. I tightly gripped the camera and put my other hand on my belly. I hunched over in pain because that was the first really bad one, "Alright I think it's getting closer to the time so I'm going to go, the next video you'll be here. I love you and I can't wait to meet you." I turned off the camera and tried to prepare myself for the hours to come.
