RESCUE PLAN

The moment Jaebum reached his house he rushed to his phone and dialed Mark's number, as soon as Jaebum heard his voice he lost it sobbing and repeating incoherent words, Mark on the other line got worried and he tried his best to calm him down but Jaebum was a total mess,
" Jaebumah, calm down I can't understand you"
but Jaebum wouldn't listen he was mostly like yelling and crying
" Jaebum for god sake I can't help you if you're like this"
but the same thing happened, Mark started to panic as well, Jaebum never acted like that before, so his last hope was screaming on the phone so he did, and he successfully shut Jaebum up shocking him,
" fuck, I'm coming over, don't you dare do anything stupid, calm down and stay still"
that's all what Mark said before hanging up on Jaebum, and stormed out of his house.

Jaebum on the other hand sat on his bed paralyzed, he could only stare blankly at the wall as a hot tears ran unstoppably across his cheeks.

Some minutes later, Mark barged into Jaebum's room finding him a total crying broken mess,
" Jae what the hell happened to you ?, why are you like this?"
Mark rushed to Jaebum's side only for him to be tackled on the bed too as Jaebum threw himself on him hugging him and sobbing on his chest, Mark couldn't do anything but to stroke his back and whispers sweet words to sooth him.

Soon Jaebum's cries turned to sniffles and he pulled himself off Mark
" I'm sorry "
he muttered,
" it's okay, can you tell me now what's wrong?" Mark patted Jaebum's arm assuring him, Jaebum's tears started to pour again as he hugged his knees to his chest, then held his head down and spoke with a so sorrowful voice,
" I-I failed him Mark hyung..... I told him I would protect and help him out but as soon as the man slapped me and threatened me by calling the police I ran away.......I ran away and left him behind to face the pain alone again"

" do you mean that hybrid you told me about?, why did the man slap you? Why did you go to his house first of all?"

Mark bumped him with questions mad and worried at the same time
" I went to help the kitten when I saw him hurt, and... and I waited for the man to come home"

Jaebum whispered the last part and glanced up to Mark, Mark raised a brow glaring down at him,
" waited?, waited?...care to tell me Why exactly did you wait for him?"

Jaebum gulped spelling everything to him afterwards, from the moment he knocked that door to the moment he ran back to his home scared.

After Jaebum finished telling the story he didn't expected what he saw when he lifted his head up, Mark's tears ran freely down his cheeks
" that's so cruel "
Mark sadly muttered as he whipped his tears,

" how could a human being be so heartless and does horrible things to another human being, and Jae running away was a cower of you but was also the right thing to do Jaebumah, if you argued more he would've hurt you more"

" but what about the hybrid? I promised him, he trusted me, I don't want to leave him suffer like that anymore, he's too precious"

Jaebum demanded tears welling in his eyes,

" we will not leave him Jaebum, but we need to figure out something to help him"

Mark whipped Jaebum's tears and sat comfortably tilting his head to the sides already thinking of ways to rescue the poor hybrid

" but that hated man said that he's his property, it wouldn't be easy to do anything"

" well, first, calling him as his property is a totally wrong thing and I don't accept that, now this's one of the reasons I'm definitely saving this hybrid, second telling the police wouldn't help as the government itself neglected the hybrids and threw their rights like it's nothing"

As Mark's chest started to get heavy an idea crossed his mind and he jumped existed

" maybe we can buy him "

Mark cheered happily but Jaebum didn't seem excited so mark curiously walked to him

" what's wrong Jaebumah?, do you think this idea wouldn't work?"

, Jaebum stared at him with pure sadness

" I don't know hyung, if he really agreed, he wouldn't let him go with a little amount of money, and I spent all my money on this stupid house "

Jaebum sighed pulling his hair in frustration " oh " Mark thought for moments,

" I can help " he let out and Jaebum snapped his head up eyes sparkling " really hyung!" , Mark nodded his head slowly

" but I need time I can't provide it at the moment "

", h-how much time?" Jaebum stuttered feeling his hopes falling apart,

" a few days maybe, I know it's long time Jaebum but I can't, it's a lot of money and I hope that hybrid could be strong enough to endure these few days, hang on and bear more pain, I also hope that man burn in hell"

Mark mumbled standing up,

" and don't get near that house again, do you understand?"

He warned him before he walked to the door,

" oh and one more thing, don't tell the hybrid we bought him, never Jaebumah, do you get me ? it will hurt his bride, and it won't be different than calling him a property"

" thank you hyung " Jaebum smiled nodding his head and following him,

" you're welcome and I wouldn't like seeing you suffer like that knowing how he's important to you now, just like how Jacky is important to me"   Mark winked stepping out and leaving a red cheeks flustered Jaebum behind him.
