So I realized a glossary page might be needed for my non-Muslim readers and some Muslim readers alike. Even though I added the translation of all the uncommon Arabic terms used in the story in brackets after those terms, I still felt that this page might be needed for reference purposes.
Shahaadah: the Muslim testimony of faith, formally recited to officially enter Islam
Fajr: one of the five mandatory solah, the first prayer of the day
Solah: the prayer sessions held five times daily; one of the five pillars of Islam
Adhan: Islamic call to prayer
Hijab: a head covering worn in public by some Muslim women
Suratul-Anbiyah: A chapter in the Qur'an
Salam Alaykum: the Muslim greeting of peace, literally “peace be upon you”
Wa Alaykum Salam: the Muslim greeting of peace, literally "And upon you be peace"
Jinn: A spirit lower than the angels, who could appear in animal or human form and influence man
Padded cell: A small room that has paddings to the walls and floors to prevent self-harm to the person who is inside
Ma Sha Allah: An expression often used when pleased with something/someone, literally "It was God will"
In Sha Allah: An expression often used when hoping for something, Literally "God willing"
