{Ghost Speak}

Last Time...

"Okay uh, since all that has been sorted out, do you I get something to eat? It's been ages since I've had a decent meal, literally."

Now...

Vlad had sudden flashbacks from when Maddie would cook meals for then while they were in college, and he shivered.

"Yes, is he alright to go ghost yet, or should I bring the food in here?" Vlad was asking the healers, but it was Daniel that answered.

"I mean, I feel fine, a lot better then I did three months ago at least, so I don't know why I wouldn't be able to go ghost?"

Before he could actually transform however, the healers cut in.

"You may feel perfectly healed, Danny, but we don't know what transforming will do to your body, especially after you just woke up from a fortnight-long coma. We'd suggest you either wait here for your food or get your hand on walking with one leg."

Danny huffed before motioning for Bradley to help him back into the bed.

"I'll have Colin make us something, do you want anything specific?"

"Ribs. I'm really craving some ribs right now."

Vlad chuckled. "Ribs it is, then. I'll be right back."

Vlad walked out the door and headed to the kitchens to make the request. To be honest, he hadn't had ribs in years, and it was, for some reason, an odd meal to eat at 2pm.

Danny was actually surprised by this craving as well, as he hadn't really liked ribs the last time he tried them. But hey, he figured his stomach knew what it wanted, who was he to deny it?

Bradley helped Daniel back onto the bed with a huff of breath. The teen wasn't heavy in any way, he was just tall. And a lot bigger shoulder-wise.

Daniel fell face first into the white pillow, making Ember laugh. He grumbled into said pillow and lifted himself up into push-up position, lifted his good leg up, and flipped it around to were he was facing the wall opposite of his bed, his right leg bent under the left.

Danny huffed.

"That took a lot more effort then it should have."

"If it makes you feel any better, it was hilarious to watch."

Danny glared at Ember, who smiled at the boy with knowing eyes.

"Sooo, Danny! Wanna tell me about the hot jock you gotta crush on?"

She blinked at him with innocent eyes, but the devilish smirk on her face suggested that the question was anything but.

Danny's face once again got red hot, but he attempted to cool it down so he could successfully glare at the ghost.

It didn't work.

His face only got hotter as her smirk got wider.

He threw his hands up in defeat at she 'whoop'-ed in victory.

"So! What's her name? What's she like? Is she cute?"

Daniel's face fell each time Ember said the words 'her' or 'she,' making the ghost confused.

The butler, that had been silently listening to the two's conversation, rolled his eyes.

"It's not a 'she,' idiot."

Ember whipped her head around to stare at the butler. One for calling her a idiot, and second for telling her that the 'handsome white haired Phantom,' was-
