The Stars in the Sky

Another day gone by,

Where did the time go?

I look upon the sky,

Praying you will let me know.

The stars are dancing for my eyes only,

They do a ballet, a dreamy one,

They caress me, lifting me slowly,

Telling me, not to run.

I grab their hands,

I feel their warmth.

As if in a trance,

I hear them call.

A silent whisper echoes in the air,

And drags me back down from the clouds.

“The hurt will be repaired,

It will remove all of your doubts.”

The kiss of Mother Nature,

The touch of the wind,

Life is a creature,

Of beauty, I think.
