I had been fighting against it for a while after I found out who her man was but I needed to see what she knew.
I found myself at Nadia's father's house. He was there alone and invited me in, I was surprised he knew who I was.
"yes, man I'm sorry I have no idea where Nadi is, I don't even know where her and that 'good for nothin' stay." I hung my head
"hey but I did hear her talking to him and she said something about going to that new club all the kids go to down town, I'm pretty sure you know."
"no sir I'm not the club type, not my scene."
"Well if you change your mind."
He wrote the name down and handed to me.
" Her and her guy should be there."
"thanks a lot Mr. Fernandez."
I wrote down my number.
"you and the boys need anything, call me and let me know ok?"
he smiled and nodded and I left.
Once outside I made a call to my boys.
"yall get me a section tonight."
"oh shit we going out boss?!"
I could have ruined their hopes and told them this was really business but why not let them have a little fun.
"yeah." I agreed.
I went and got a fresh cut.
I hadn't worn my hair long since I was 19. Now a days I kept it shaved around the sides with short curls up top. I enjoyed dressing like an old school gangster. So, I wore tailored slacks bling'd out cuff links, suspenders with a shoulder gun holster underneath like the detectives wore and a tailored jacket. Chicks seemed to dig that shit. Top it off with a gold chain and some gold rings and Rolex. classic as fuck.
When we walked in it was like a celebrity walked in, it made me uncomfortable.
Noted I was a local celeb but I was normally low-key and never on the scene unless for an exclusive party.
The DJ shouted us out. I acknowledged him with a head nod and made my way to our section buying everyone but myself drinks, I wanted to stay alert.
Almost two hours had passed by and I was getting restless with still no sign of Nadia. I sent my number 2 and best friend Jeff, to go pay the tab so we could leave. The girl Paige I had been smashing on and off was sitting on my lap. "aw baby do we have to go I was having so much fun."
I smiled
"yeah I'm tired"
"I mean not that I'm not ready to go back to your place, its just we never go out."
I handed her a couple twenties and told her to. go buy her a few more drinks. She skipped off with a wide smile, and I was glad to get rid of her. I stood up by the rail looking over the club. Two of my bodyguards followed behind me as I waited for Jeff to come back so we could leave.
