Your POV

It was Friday afternoon, it's been two weeks and a half since my confession to Lewis and everytime I regret it more and more. Maybe it wasn't the right time or maybe I'm not the right person. However, my relationship with Lewis is fine, just as it used to be.

On the other hand, there's Wilbur. Wilbur's being really awkward when it comes to our relationship, I mean, he's my best friend and I trust him for everything, but this time I have the feeling he's hiding something from me. He's being nicer than usual and, it's not that I complain, but I know something's wrong here.

My phone rang, so I got up from the bed where I was laying and took it from the dressing table in the corner of my room. It was Franny, so I answered.

-Hey, any news?- I asked while walking around my room

-Yes, I spent the afternoon with Lewis- her voice was so sharp through the phone that I expected the worst

-So? What did he told you?- I asked nervously, hoping he didn't tell her about my confession

-Well, it's something that might interest you a lot- was it related to me? She sounded excited now anyways, so she couldn't be mad at me

-What is it?- I asked anxiously, I couldn't wait anymore

-He asked me out...- I got dizzy, I could clearly hear my heart breaking. My eyes got wet and I had a lump in my throat that stopped me from saying something in that moment –[Y/N]?-

-Oh, well, that's very nice- I said after a few seconds of silence -I'm really happy for you. Now, can you excuse me for a moment, Mildred's calling me to help her. Bye-

I hanged up without letting her speak. A few tears ran down my cheek as I lay on my bed again. What was I supposed to do now? I felt exhausted. I took the phone and called Wilbur.

-Hello?- He answered cheerful. I hated to cut his mood off, but I needed to tell someone

-Lewis asked Franny out- I said in a sad voice for then hearing a few seconds of silence -Can you come over?-

-I'll be there in ten- I hanged up and waited for Wilbur to come.
