In a small town in Michigan lived two young souls. They were best friends and pledged to always stick together no matter what. Lena and Zane were just seven when they were taken away from each other. They were playing on the playground like they normally do every Friday. Lena had brought her ball to play catch with Zane. After 20 minutes of playing Lena and Zane started to play with the ball. Lena accidentally threw the ball into the road so Zane insisted to go and get it even though Lena said she would get his mom. Zane went into the road to get the ball but soon as he got it the unexpected happened Zane was hit by a car. Lena turned around after she heard the crash. She sprinted over to Zane's side. Tears started to run down her cheeks yelling for help. Everyone at the park came over to help and started to call 9-11. Lena had Zane in her arms holding him and telling him everything will be okay. The ambulance finally arrived just in time. They took him away to the hospital with his parents. Lena went home not knowing anything that was happening. She informed her parents about what had happened. Her parents of course Kept in touch with Zanes parents to. Hours later lena's parents got a call from Zanes parents. After hearing the news they told Lena to sit down. He parents told her that Zane was being transported to a hospital in California for medical care and physical therapy. Lena's heart broken into a million pieces just thinking that she will never see her best friend ever again twisted her stomach.
10 years later...
Lena is now 17 years old and works at a bakery in down town Michigan. She also is getting ready to go to college at Michigan University. One day at the bakery Lena was filling out orders for customers. As she was filling out orders she heard a familiar voice. She turned around and saw a strange face that reminded her of someone she used to know but waited until he made his order and gave her his name. As he started to talk he told her his name " Zane Moore". Lena stood the in complete shock. Years started running down her face just like she did 10 years ago. He was very confused but didn't question it. She said " it's me Zane Lena you childhood friend." He was so shocked to. Lena leaped over the counter and gave Zane a big hug that last for minutes. They told each other how much their life has changed and how much the missed one another. She got him a table to sit and took a lunch break to catch up more. After she took her lunch break she Mentioned they should hang out while he was in town again and of course he said yes.
5 weeks later...
After they reunited they hung out for weeks with each other. One day Zane woke up and decided to stay because he realized he had feelings towards Lena. He is planning on telling her the news today at the Farris wheel near the bakery in down town. He texted Lena to get ready because he had a surprise for her. He also said he would pick her up at 7:00pm. She agreed and got ready. Hours later Lena was ready for he date with Zane now she just waited Patiently. Zane finally arrived to her house to pick her up and they both drove off to the Farris wheel. After a 20 minute drive they finally made it. Zane took Lena to the top of the Farris wheel and got ready to tell her the news. He grabbed her hands and looked at her in the eyes. He said that he decided to rent a apartment and move back to Michigan. She was so happy and gave him a big hug. But now it was time for him to ask the big question that's been on his mind since day 1. He took a deep breath and ask " Lena will you be my girlfriend." She hugged him tight and said yes over and over again.
5 Years later...
Lena and Zane now have their own apartment together and both own their own bakery after Lena finished college and got a degree in Call Ineri arts and same thing with Zane. And the both were Engaged after a trip to Paris. They were both very happy together and are planning to have a family of their own one day but until then they have each other.
