yoongi quickly pulled his hoodie closer to hide his thin frame but a little cashmere doesn't affect the crowd from staring holes at him. god, what kind of trick are you pulling? yoongi continued to stride forward, his eyes only focusing on the floor, afraid of meeting everyone's face.

he could literally heed whispers from the girls, scowls from the boys and probably coos (?) coming from behind. keep a straight face, breathe in and out, you can do this yoongi.

once yoongi appeared in front of his classroom, his limbs were frozen. it didn't mattered what weird stares people were giving because he had a quick mental breakdown. he peeked inside, there were his classmates chatting, everyone was in their own world and it was the right time to step in.

yoongi entered his class and the whole class became silent. he deadass felt like digging himself a hole to sleep but he just couldn't. there was no way other, it's reality and he had to face it. relief washed over him when he saw someone he loved dearly, his anime best friend at the corner of the class, busy having a blast playing board games with the deskmate in front of him.

it was none other than jung hoseok, everyone's sunshine.

yoongi approached hoseok as the other was too preoccupied with planning strategies to win the board-game. it was until yoongi intentionally cleared his throat, the sunshine boy turned his gaze to him. "hey hoseok? remember me, i'm back." the whole class watched intently, eager knowing the identity of this transferee (as they assumed).

with the brightest smile hoseok put on, he stood up from his seat, happily engulfing yoongi in his tight hug. "min yoongi, do you have any idea how much i missed you?"

and the whole class exploded in gasps of disbelief.

"you're min yoongi?!"

"who else would i be?"

a/n: how was the beginning? was it too fast paced? i hope it's not... i'm thinking of doing triple updates for today. stay tuned!
