Adventure of Naruto: The Fox Hybrid

Part II

Naruto woke up to find a rabbit with white snot in front of his face. Jolt awake in surprised, he accidentally damaging the safe place.

He came out of the ground and watch the white and brown rabbit scrambling away from him. He stretch out before sat down to look his surroundings. He didn’t know where he is right now and he even can't smell his father either. He’s really in dangers without someone protecting him, being caught by humans again that would be possible easier if he didn’t do anything.

Loud rumble came from his stomach and Naruto know what that means, he is hungry. He need to start hunting or he’ll starved to death.

This's his first time hunting without his father helping him. Even thought he already known the basic of hunting he’s still has this unsure feeling if he can do it or not. It’s easy to say than done after all.

Naruto trailing the rabbit scent from before when suddenly he found a baby deer with its families, they’re not notice him yet but he can’t crossing them without getting caught, so he lay under the bush and wait.

Almost an hour when he finally the rabbit coming back and was hopping towards his direction. How luck he is. Changing his position into hunt mode, Naruto crouched down waiting for the right moment.

His eyes widened when the rabbit seems can smell him when its snot sniffing the air and its ears twitching. So Naruto jumps out from the bush, open his mouth widely showing his sharp teeth. Almost caught the rabbit by its scruff when a deer running towards him.

With surprised yelp and pain Naruto being hit by an adult deer, its large antler easily pull him up and threw him across the ground. With pained grunt Naruto desperately trying to stand up and escaped from an angry deer before it can reach him. He staring at his prey who had been running away.

He didn’t know what happened, is his presence makes them in panic mode and without thinking they run over him like that?

Those thing kick him really hard. Naruto tried to stand up but the pain was so overwhelming. God, he miss his daddy so much.

Naruto start whining and crying calling out his father.

He didn’t know how long he had been here when suddenly heavy rain came, soaking his warm and thick fur.

Shivering in cold, his breath begin to shallow, Naruto didn’t realize his eyes begin to closed and let the darkness consuming him.

A deep and long howl jolting him awake. It wasn’t his father for sure because not only one howl but another howl following. A pack. And they were closed.

He didn’t know what would they do when they found him. Don’t want to be a meal of a pack of wolves Naruto forced himself to stand up.

C'mon Naruto. C'mon. Shaking so badly Naruto bit of cries when the pain overwhelming.

Panting heavily Naruto look back to the howl. God, the pain is just too much and because that it blocking all of his system.

His blue eyes widened when he found himself staring at a big white wolf, its black eyes staring back at him. Scrambling to his feet Naruto backed away and growling at the big wolf.

“What a brave kit you are.” The wolf said with gruff voice. “Where's your family, kit?”

Stubbornly Naruto kept his muzzle shut and continued to growled much to the wolf’s amusement.

“What about you come with me eh? Because it seems like you would be passed out.”

“No. I can taking care of myself.” He said.

The wolf snorted makes Naruto scowling in annoyance. “Don’t get me wrong. I just feeling concern about you kit.”

Losing his patience the wolf pounced on him fast enough that he couldn’t even react. The wolf pinned him to the ground before pick him up by the scruff like his father always do. Like an instinct he fell limply and let the wolf holding him.

“My name's Jiraiya, by the way.”

“I’m Naruto..”

“Maelstrom huh? Good name kit.”

“That’s was the meaning of my name? I ask my papa where my name comes from and my papa said he only take it randomly.” Laughter could be heard after that.

“Good grief, keep those innocent of you kit. Don’t let the darkness consuming you.” Jiraiya said.

Then Naruto live with Jiraiya and Tsunade (Jiraiya's mate), they became like his godfather and godmother that he never have before. And after Naruto told them what happened, they decided to teach him how to survive from extreme weather and how to defense themselves from another carnivores.

Almost everyday Naruto increasing his skills while hoping one day he can meet again with his father.
