6 month later

“Naruto-niisan!” A dark blonde pup run towards him with the other pup trailing. When he lost his balance and falling to the ground makes the other two bump onto him.

“Yahiko do not running.” Scolded Naruto. “You'll get hurt. Same as you Nagato, Konan. Why are you following your brother?”

“It’s because of you niisan!” Yahiko untangle himself from his young brother and sister as he quickly stood up with its tail in the air.

“Mine? I don’t even do anything.” Naruto took Konan by the scruff and walk back to their den with Nagato besides him.

“I told him to not run but he’s not listening.” Nagato said.

“Hey!” Protests Yahiko, frown deepening. Angrily following them. “Spoil Sport.”

After they’re in the den Naruto put Konan down to the ground before laying down, letting them snuggle closer to his. Smile fondly, Naruto licked them, earning small giggle from Konan and smiled from Nagato.

Naruto look up to find Yahiko still standing in front of the den with his head bowed and tails between its legs. Naruto shaking his head, These pup look so much like me. He thought amused.

“Yahiko-chan c'mere.”

Giving shameful glance Yahiko walk closer with its tail still between his legs. He bump his head to Naruto’s forehead and letting his brother nuzzling him and pull him closer till he lay between its legs.

“I'm sorry, niisan.” He whisper with quiver voice.

“No, I'm sorry too for snap at you guys.” Naruto glance to them with apologetic look. “I’ve been so paranoid lately because of what happened last time. And I promise to your father to protect you guys, so I don’t want to broke it by seeing you getting hurt.” Explained him.

“I don’t want to lose you too.” Mumbles Naruto nuzzles the pups before lay his head on the ground with 3 pups by his sides.

That night Naruto decide to patrols. Makes sure the pups still fall asleep before take off.

Naruto look around checking the situation. He scrubbing his body from trees to trees, leaving its scent behind before he start to hunt.

A small group of bears was crossing when a bigger one glancing up at him curiously. He let out a warning growl before turn around.

With awed Naruto watch them walked away before disappear into the dark of the Forrest. Then he continued to hunt so he can come back to the den as soon as possible.

Finally he found a rabbit pop up from its holes. Naruto crouch down and crawl closer, he freeze when the rabbit crawling out of the hole and facing him showing his familiar white and brown fur.

“Oh my god..” Naruto straightned up, realizing if this rabbit's the same one he met before. “It has been awhile. Look at you.. you've been grown up.”

The rabbit staring at him for a moment before hop back to the hole much for his awkwardness.

“Alright..”
