Chapter 6: You're the one that i want

Luka's PoV
It's been 3 months since Chloe and I became friends. I don't know how to feel around her. I think I'm falling in love with her.
"Hey Luka!"
I smile, "hey Clarice! Hey Jade!" I see Chloe walk over the yard and talk to Max about something.
Clarice and Jade smirk, "dude, we've been watching you."
I stutter, "wh,what do y,you mean?"
Just then Raphael and Erik also join us and Jade and Clarice spill the beans, "Luka has a crush on someone!"
I cough, "what NO!"
Out of amusement, and understanding, Erik calls Chloe over, "hey Chloe, come hear this!"
She turns and has a slight red tint on her face. It was probably a bit of makeup but she looked extremely cute.
"Sure thing!"
She was wearing a cute yellow dress with a leather jacket. She also had black leggings and boots. Perfect for autumn.
"What's up?"
I blush as they sing, "Luka has a crush!"
She smiles, "oh. Is that it?"
Everyone exclaims, "what do you mean, 'is that it?' ?!"
"Luka has had a crush on Marinette for ages right?"
Chloe nods, "yeah?"
"Well turns out it's someone else!"
Chloe smiles slightly, "good for you Luka. Everyone knows that Marinette and Adrien were destined to be together anyways..."
Ouch. But it's the truth...
She (bravely) smiles, "so who is it? Who do you like?"
I gulp, "umm..." I look at her and she (fake) excitedly looks at me with those big blue eyes...
"Yeah Luka, whose song is louder than Marinette's?"
Chloe.
Chloe.
Chloe.
"Chloe."
Everyone is silent.
Then I realise what I've done.
"-'s friend Sabrina!"
Everyone minus Chloe groans, "don't be an idiot!"
Chloe blushes, "Sabrina huh? That's... great."
Jade exasperatedly says, "HE LIKES YOU!"
...
"Thanks Jade..."
"S,sorry..." she murmurs and they all leave us to talk.

Chloe mumbles, "me??"
"Umm...kinda......no not kinda..."
"Me too..."
"Really...?
"I mean... I think so..."
"Umm...doyouwanttocomeroundtomineafterschooltoday?" I blurt.
She smiles and nods shyly. We look around a bit before I say:
"...umm... you look nice today..."
"Thanks... you too..." she blushes again.
The bell rings and she jumps up, "well see you after school then..."
"Y,yeah..."
She walks away, waving slightly, then runs to her class.
I groan. I don't know what's gotten into me...

After school, we go to mine and hang out in my room.
"So... what do you want to do?"
"Can I hear you sing again?" I ask shyly. Shyly?! I'm never shy!
"Y,um,maybe..."
I take her hands as she sheepishly says, "I mean, it's ok if you hear me sing but you know... it's your sister and mom. I don't want them to hear..."
Her face is a soft rouge and I pull her in, "then sing to me quietly..."
There is a silence until she pulls away, "dude what the heck!"
She fumbles about a bit and then I sadly sigh, "sorry... I couldn't help it when you're the one that I want..."
"...me..."she says, still shocked that I would want that, "you want me?"
"Yes, I, I mean, I t,told you I like you, and you told me you liked me so I mean why not we try it out..."
She smiles at my awkwardness and I smile back, "so her, will you go out with me?"
"Sure thing Couffaine."
I chuckle and she closes my door.
"I'll sing for you..."
"I'll sing with you..."
