"Guys look it's Kookheon!" Seungwoo yelled as all three of us made our way outside the school building doors.

I saw Kookheon turn his head over to see who was calling him and he held up a wide smile, then his eyes landed on me. We made eye contact and his smile just slowly turned into a smaller one. A more genuine, happier one tho. It wasn't a sad one.

Then my eyes averted downwards to his left hand interlocked with a familiar someone. Seungyoun came closer to my ear and whispered, "Who's the new chick?"

I sent him a side glare before pulling them both with me towards Kookheon. Kookheon noticed we were approaching them so they too started walking towards us until we met face to face.

"Haven't seen you guys in a minute." Kookheon said with a laugh, "No really, it's been like a minute, how did you guys leave class so fast?"

Seungwoo tilted his head, "You were out here before us actually. How did you get out here so quick?" He asked with a teasing tone, raising his eyebrow towards the girl next to Kookheon.

Kookheon blushed at first and then immediately shook his head to deny any agreement, "No I just got here like the rest of you. We just happened to see each other at the same time that's all."

Seungyoun nodded, "Right right...but we didn't even see you in the class once the bell rang. It's like you got super speed or something?"

The girl then sighed in surrender, "Guys, he skipped the last few minutes to come meet me out here. I called him."

After countless tries of trying to figure out who she was, once she talked it finally came back to my mind. She was that girl I met last night in front of Kookheon's dorm. His ex.

What are they doing here together?

Kookheon pouted at the girl, whose name was Yoona, "Yoona, why would you say it like that? I only skipped the last TWO minutes. Not few."

Yoona smiled cutely at him and patted his head, "Okay potato head, the last tWo minutes. Happy?"

Kookheon rolled his eyes then and went back to his normal composure, "I'm fine."

Seungwoo couldn't hold back his laughter, "Looks like you got a new girl? Is this real?"

Yoona shook her head, "No actually. We're just friends."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "But," I pointed to their hands.

Kookheon nodded, "Well, we're friends as of right now, but we're trying to fix our broken relationship so we can be more than friends later on."

Yoona smiled, "Exactly. Right now we're just close friends."

Seungyoun sighed loudly in annoyance, "Blah blah blah! Can we pick up that ice cream or WHAT?"

Seungwoo glared at Seungyoun through his bangs and I quickly grabbed his arm and smiled at the two others, "Sorry we interrupted then, carry on."

Kookheon then grabbed my arm to stop me, "Wait! Did he say ice cream?"

Yoona gasped, "I love ice cream! Can we join?"

Seungwoo and I shared a look but before we could answer, Seungyoun yelled, "DUH! Now stop talking and hurry up!"

Kookheon and Yoona jumped in joy and followed Seungyoun down the pavement. Seungwoo looked at me before sliding his arm around my waist and guiding me down behind the other three.
