CHAPTER 30: FLASHBACK

CHANTAL'S POV

I'm still shock sa nalaman ko na sinagot no Cylyne si Asa, in some point it was good because it means naka move on na sya ki Quill.

Me and Quill was friends till now pero not that much dahil nga sa nangyare sakanila ni Cy but yeah we still friends.

We sometimes talk through chat, and just like before I just call him kwil instead of kill so he gets annoyed and he won't mind if i'm cold to him. I don't know exact what happened to both of them but yeah I know na nasaktan non si Cy.

And I had to accept the fact that we cannot be clost friends anymore, but the good thing is we're stil friends. But he's the one who always communicate me, and everytime he asked about Cy ofcourse I would say that she's fine.

And Cylyne doesn't even know that Quill is contacting me and still asking me about her, All I know Quill left Cylyne but not the exact because both of them doesn't even tell me the whole story!

Funny right? were friends but I don't know exactly what happened, but I don't mind.

It's early in the morning at bumangon ako kaagad, I go to my bathroom at nag ayos na, I already took a shower. Lumabas na ako ng kwarto pagka tapos kong ma ligo at mag ayos.

Magluluto ako pero kinatok ko na muna ang kwarto ni Cylyne para magising na din sya.

"Girl, wake up!" I knock and said.

Hindi ko na hinintay pa ang sasabihin nya, dumeretso na ako sa kusina then I prepare food for our breakfst.

CYLYNE'S POV

Chantal knocked in my door, gising na ako kanina pa pero syempre tinatamad pa ring bumangon. But i'm happy, the feeling I felt right now was so strange because I never felt it for a longest time.

This day, this morning is kind of a new to me because aftera long time I was happy na nagising ako. I was smiling till my phone beep. I get my phone and someone message me it's an unknown number so I open in. And right at right of this moment my smiles fade.

QUILL:

Hi! hope you will view this message, and yeah sana you still remember me, and if not it's me Quill.

It's been a year, and I don't know right now what should I react, tulala ako sa cellphone ko pinag mamasdan ang isang mensahe.

Nabalik lamang ako sa wisyo ko ng muling tumunog ang phone ko, and I thought it was still from Quill but I was wrong because this time it is from Asa, and a smile crept on my lips. I open Asa's message and read it.

ASA:

Hi goodmorning! love you. Let's go out?

I badly want to say yes, but I need to work. Nagreply kaagad ako.

AKO:

Hi goodmorning! sorry can't go, I have things to do sorry :<

I still can't say I love you to him even in text and I don't know why, I can't even understand myself why. But yeah sometimes iniisip ko na lang na takot pa din ako na once I said I love you or I love you too bigla na lang syang mawala.

Bigla naman kaagad nag reply si Asa.

ASA:

Why? bawal ba akong sumama?

AKO:

No, sorry maybe next time.

I replied, at pumasok na ako sa banyo at naligo pagkatapos ay nag ayos na din ako at saka lumabas ng kwarto.

"Oh finally!" si Chantal na kakatpos lang ata na mag luto. I only smiled. "Oh tara na kumain na tayo, papasok ka ba?" tanong nya tumango naman ako. "Hoi Mariah Cylyne Aleeza Felecity Ann Gomez wag mo kong tango tanguan lang, sa pagkakatanda ko di kanaman pipe, wag mo ko ngingiti ngitian! porket kayo na ni Jimenez!"

"Okay, girl slowly papasok ako ngayon sa trabaho, and yeah that's it, okay kana? dami mong sinabi eh"

Kumain na kami at nanahimik naman si Chantal till in the middle of our breakfast bigoang tumumog ang cellphone ko. I immediately get it at tiningnan ko sino ang nag text and it's Quill.

Naramdaman ko ang pag angat ng tingin ni Chantal sa akin ng napa tagal ang titig ko sa cellphone ko, I don't know what to reply so.

AKO:

How did you get my number?

"Hoy sino bayan at ang seryoso mo?" si Chantal na dinudungaw ang cellphone ko.

"Si.....Quill" I said at mukha naman syang kinabahan kaya napa kunotang noo ko. Pero bago pa ako maka rugtong sa sasabihin ko bigla na ulit tumunog ang cellphone ko kaya tiningnan ko na yun.

QUILL:

Si Chantal.

And by that moment unti unti ako nag taas ng tingin kay Chantal na naka leace sign na ngayon at ready na tumakbo.

"Sorry!" aniya na naka peace sign parin.

"You gave my number sakanya?" I asked tumango naman sya.

"Sorry kasi-" di ko na sya pinatapos.

"I don't care if you give my number to him but you never said to me na nag uusap pa kayo, i'm not mad of you both still talking but Chan, you know I wnat to talk to him before" I said, can't blame Chan because she doesn't know everything.

"Yeah, sasabihin ko naman dapat kaso when I notice that you started moving on di ko na tinuloy baka kasi di ka na maka move on pag nagka uspa pa kayo noon, well atleast ngayon may Asa kana" aniya pa at napa iling namana ko.

"Okay" I said.

"Galit ka ba?" she asked.

"No, but promise me na never mo sasabihin sakanya lahat ng nanagyare" I said at unti unti anman tumango si Chantal.

"Promise" she said.

I was almost good enough. He was in love with me. I survived. We almost made it.
