'Have fun staying in school another year.'

That's what kept replaying in my head all day.

I don't want to stay in school longer than I have to. No. I'm not going to stay in school longer than I have to. I'm just not. I won't.

But, now I might have to. Because of stupid Millie. She gets offended too easily and it just pisses me off. Everything that she does just pisses me off.

I should've just ditched school when I had the chance, I wouldn't have to take this stupid test that she was supposed to help me study for.

I don't even remember learning any of this! I don't even think the teacher taught us any of this stuff! It's all just bullshit!

"Five more minutes." Mr. Modine announced. My eyes widened as I averted my gaze to the clock.

'Five minutes! Fuck!'

I looked back at my test and just started filling in random answers that seemed like they'd be right.

Five minutes passed and the bell rang. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair before getting up and giving my test to Mr. Modine. "Thank you." He said as he took it from my hands. I just nodded in return and left the class with everybody else.

My jaw was clenched as I trudged down the hall, trying not make eye contact with anyone.

I finally made it to the cafeteria and pushed the doors open, walking right to the line to get food.

"Hey, Dude." Gaten said as I stood in line behind him.

"Hey." I replied, shoving my hands in my pockets.

"What's up?" He asked, grabbing a muffin and taking a bite out of it.

"Nothing. Just pretty sure that I bombed a test." I answered and grabbed a tray.

"Why? Your tutor not helping you or something?"

"She's not turning me anymore." I mumbled. Gaten turned around and narrowed his eyes at me, then sighed and stared at me regularly.

"What did you do?" He asked.

"Why are you assuming I did something? She could've done something, too, you know." I rolled my eyes.

"What did you do?" He repeated. I dropped my tray and turned to him.

"I didn't do anything! I just started— fuck! Nevermind!" I put the tray back and stomped away from the lunch line, leaving the cafeteria. I threw open the cafeteria doors and ran into a girl.

But not just any girl.

No.

It was Millie.

It just had to be her.

I sat up from the floor and saw her rubbing her head, most likely from pain. The whole cafeteria started laughing and I sighed angrily. "Shit." I muttered and got up as she did, too. I started walking away again and I kicked one of her books in the process, sending it about ten feet away.
