Yunhee dragged her feet reluctantly into her class, the droned out chattering making her feel more bored than she already was.
As usual, eyes followed her when she entered but she payed no mind to it- slumping down in her seat and absentmindedly drawing on the table with her finger.

Jeno and Jisung entered not long after, taking their seats behind the girl and attempting to engage in a conversation, but her mind was far from reality.
She was sucked into the thoughts that swirled around her mind like there was a rush for her to swallow down the harsh reality.

Was she a daughter?
Or was she a piece in her father's business?

No matter how much she adores Donghyuck, she could not marry him- purely as she was a big believer in love.

Not that she was falling in love anytime soon.

"Hey poor boy, pick that up why don't you." A voice called out, pulling the girl from her inner struggles. Yunhee's eyes traced from the obnoxious girl, to Jaemin.
His fists were tightened and his jaw was clenched, the muscles threatening to protrude more than they already were.

Jaemin didn't reply, he only pierced his eyes into the girl as she laughed, smacking her lips loudly whilst chewing.
"Did you not hear me? I said pick it up."
Once again he didn't reply, he averted his gaze and looked out the window.
Yunhee wondered what he was thinking right now, what went on inside Na Jaemin's mind?

The girl scoffed and walked towards him, heels clicking on the floor. She slammed her hands on the desk and Jaemin turned his head towards her.

"Didn't your parents tell you it's rude to ignore people." She taunted, smirking.
"Oh wait, my bad I forgot they're dead."

If the situation didn't have everyone's attention, it did now. A few murmurs broke out and eyes were drawn to the scene. Yunhee's jaw slackened as she heard the girl torment Jaemin over his parents.
Jaemin's eyes became dark and his hair fell over his eyes.
"Are you going to beat me up now?" The girl laughed, leaning back and watching Jaemin struggle with his anger.

His fingers twitched and Donghyuck had decided to voice his own input.
"Maybe you should just listen to her and pick it up." He said, high fiving another boy.
Everyone began giggling and whispering, Jaemin leaned his head down slightly- feeling humiliated.

Yunhee watched in horror as no one stood up for him at all.
Were people really that heartless?
Apparently so.

"Yah, you're still ignoring me? You do realise who you are compared to us right- Yunhee's father is paying for your scholarship. If you want to stay here, I suggest you do as we say."

Yunhee's brows furrowed and she recalled how her Father took the job of paying for a few children's scholarships.
If looks could kill, the girl would be ten feet deep by now as Jaemin scraped his chair back and got up slowly, his eyes menacing.

The girl gulped and nervously took a step back.
"Next time you speak to me, I'll fucking snap your neck." He growled, grabbing his bag and pushing past the crowd, leaving before any more was said.

Yunhee shook her head in disbelief and stood up, exiting her desk- only to be stopped by a hand.
"Where are you going?" Donghyuck asked and Yunhee shrugged his grip off her and pushed through the sea of children- following after Jaemin.
