Anna woke as if sleeping was a dangerous thing , It was. Dark goo dripped from its fangs and over its lips in an eerie grin. Its dark saliva burned holes in the bedsheets. The creature wasn't completely opaque as a if it wasn't completely there. Anna could of been hallucinating, no horrid creature could exist in reality. Then, the bed began to dip. Its inhuman limbs stenched over to the side of Anna's head trapping like her a spider. It's limbs were long and boney . it's eyeballs were too small for their sockets they just rolled around in the bubbling slime that poured out it's eyes.
It tortured Anna's fear by sniffing the the sides of her head, playing with it's food.
Her own scream tore through her like a shard of glass. Her eyes widened her pulse quickened. The blood from her face was drained.
The creature curled into itself, tormented by the high frequency of Anna scream. It let out a gurgled roar in it pain.
The scream came again more desperate. Before she was aware her consciousness took over. Her feet were pounding on the oak floor. Her ears were looking for sound, searching for any clue what that creature is. She had no idea were she was going, the only thing that mattered is that she was going to get there fast.
She had never encountered a ghost it's melody was more to the surface. Distorted and broken.
It's counted every breath Anna struggled to breathe in, it heard and every footstep she took, it centred her sent.
It followed her through the halls charging at her on all fours.
Anna was ahead, her feet taking her to a dead end. An arched window stood decoratively open. Her toes poked over the edge of the concrete, expected death. It was them when time began to dissolve in itself. Dust fell more slowly, the beast turned the corner.
All she took was a single breath. It's claw skimmed Anna's flesh. She leaned back into the night.
Vicious wind wrapped around Anna's body.
She should of hit the floor but she morphed into a gliding creature.
High above a bird flies on invisible strings. It's blue fiery wings glided softly over the crashing waves of the sea that's hugged by greenery.
Behind her the creature crawled on the solid walls of the castle ,still locked on her sent, into the forest. It knocked over trees but another was heading her way. Larger with scaled wings. It aura way much stronger. It was soundless.
She began to panic again. flapping her wings frantically. She lost control of the steady winds of the night. She struggled to find the balance of the winds and fell head first towards the grass.
Her body shaped back into human in midair with her flaming feather burning behind her, some still sprinkled on her arms and ankles. Both creatures hunt after her like a race. She rolled in the grass that strained her gown. She closed her eyes for impact holding her pained head. The beasts both charged at her.
