How long has it been since I left home...?
I took out my phone and checked the time.
5:54 PM
Only an hour... I doubt those two even noticed that I left... Now that I left home, what am I going to do? I mean, I got connections 'round here if I ever need a place to crash for the night, and I made good friends with some managers at restaurants 'round here if I ever need somethin' to eat... Problem is, they all on the rich side of Queens. Like, if I were to take a bus it would be easier, but walkin' there is a pain in the butt. I guess I can start looking for somewhere to sleep for the night...
I continued on my way, looking around to see if there was a place I can just rest for a moment. I soon came across a bench and quickly walked over to it. I sat down and took of my backpack. I then sighed with relief. When I breathed out, I saw my own breath. I sat up on the bench and hugged myself for warmth.
I keep forgettin' it's in the middle of Fall... No wonder it's so chilly... Knew I should've brought a jacket...
I felt myself shivering as a chilling wind blew past me. Then, I felt something being draped over my shoulders. I turned around to see a man giving me his fur coat.
"You looked cold. Thought you could use it," he said.
"Thank you, but, what 'bout you? Ain't you cold?" I asked.
"I moved here from Canada. I'm use to the cold."
He then walked away without another word. I watched him go as I tugged on the fur coat. I took it off my shoulders and then slipped my arms inside the sleeves.
Funny. It's exactly my size... Guess the people 'round here ain't so bad...
I smiled contently as I began to warm up. I took out my phone and checked the time.
6:19 PM
I put my phone in the coat pocket and leaned back on the bench. I looked up at the sky as it began to change from light to dark. I got up and put on my backpack. I then continued walking.
There's gotta be a place I can sleep for the night...
As I was walking, I saw a bus at a bus stop. It was going to the rich side of Queens.
Luck really is on my side tonight.
I quickly ran up to it and hopped on with the already large crowd. I sat down and sighed. I took out my phone and checked to see if I got any messages from my parents. Surprisingly, there was none. No messages, no missed calls, no voicemails, nothing.
That's strange...
I turned off my phone and then put it back in the coat pocket. I leaned my head back on the window and breathed out.
The bus ride to the rich side of Queens is 'bout a good few minutes away from where I live. Well, better get comfortable...
35 Minutes Later
6:54 PM"Jamaica Estates." the bus driver announced.
Here's my stop.
I got up and walked off the bus, looking around at the beautiful and expensive houses.
Jamaica Estates is one of the most expensive Queens neighborhoods.
I walked along the city side of Jamaica Estates for a while before heading to the suburb side.
This is actually the place where I have a lot of connections. I also go to school here.
As I was walking, I felt like someone was following me. I turned around and saw three guys who were walking the same way as me. They wore dark hoodies so I couldn't see their faces. I turned back around and began to walk a little faster. I heard the boys' footsteps quicken as well. I then started running. As I was running, I felt a hand grab my wrist. I turned around to see that it was one of the boys I was running away from.
"Well, well, well... What do we have here?" the boy asked.
"Y'all can tell this lass is from the East. The girls there are MUCH better lookin' then the ones here." said another boy.
"Mind tellin' us your name, sweetheart?" asked the other boy.
"Like hell I would tell you! Let go of me!" I cried, trying to get my wrist free.
Danm boys and their strength!
"Ooh... a feisty one. I love a girl who plays hard to get..." one of the boys said, his voice turning seductive.
"What do you want from me?" I asked out of anger and fear.
"We just want you... If you're lookin' for a place to sleep, you can sleep with us..." said another boy.
My eyes widened in fear.
"There's no need to be afraid... We'll take it slow, just for you..." said the boy who was holding my wrist.
He then wrapped his arm around my waist, still holding my wrist. I thrashed around, trying to get free, but was to no avail. The boys just laughed at my desperate attempts to get free.
"If ya keep struggling, my grip will only get tighter." the boy holding me said.
He wasn't kidding. His grip 'round my wrist and waist had gotten tighter.
I pushed him away from me with my free hand, only to get it snatched up and held in place next to my other hand.
"There... No more struggling." the boy said.
"What now?" asked the other two boys.
The boy me holding looked at me with a seductive and mischievous smile.
"Now... we have some fun..." he said.
My eyes widened and I thrashed around again, but harder.
"LET ME GO!" I cried.
The boy didn't listen and began to lean in close.
"Let her go!" cried another voice behind us.
The three boys turned around to see three other boys standing there. One had blonde hair, another had red hair, and the other had black.
Please be here to save me...
