❝corbyn's pov❞

We finished our first period which was History, but Cindy was nowhere to be seen.

"Come on, where is she? I was having the courage to record new music" Jack sighed as we made our way to Spanish.
"I know" Zach frowned.
"Maybe she was tired again" Jonah said.

"Have you heard that Roadtrip is going on tour?! That's so cool!"

"Yeah, and they're much better than the Why Don't We boys, right?"

"Absolutely"

The guys and I laughed dryly as we sat down to our seats.

"Isn't that face-to-face hate?" Daniel chuckled.
"Yeah, it's whatever" I said.
"But Roadtrip going on concert? Like across the country concert?" Zach asked.
"Congrats for them then" Jack said.
"Yeah, no mad feelings or whatsoever" Jonah added and we nodded.

There was an awkward silence.

"I really miss Cindy bro, that's her seat" Jack said, pointing at the empty seat beside me.
"I know" I sighed.

Suddenly, a blonde girl with freckles who was wearing all black entered the room.

Seeing the seat beside me was the only vaccant one, she sighs and decides to sit beside me.

"Oh wait sorry, is this seat taken?" she asked, unsure.
"N- no. No it's not" I replied, still in-shock.
"She might melt, Corbyn" Zach whispered.

I playfully rolled my eyes and chuckled.

"Get off Zach" I said, smiling.
"You just hit love in first sight bro!" he yelled.

I laughed.

"Already got someone in my eyes." I replied.

The boys' head turn me.

❝cindy's pov❞

"So how's that gonna work, ma'am?" I asked the principal.

We were talking about the tiny problem about the bands I was ahold of.

We just found out that each school should only have one representative, meaning it's either Why Don't We or Roadtrip.

This is stressing.

"This takes brainstorming" she sighed, spinning on her chair and getting a couple papers.
"Here, add your ideas on this paper and i'll see which one's the best choice" she said.

I nodded and started to write things down.

After writing, I hand her the paper back.

She then examined the ideas I wrote down.

"These are good, i'd prefer this risky one" she said.
I chuckled, "Which one?" I asked.
"The last one" she replied.

My heart dropped.

"W- we're gonna make them battle against each other?" I asked, unsure.

She nodded, not taking off her eyes on the paper.

"Roadtrip or Why Don't We, Cindy." she said and I sighed.
"So here's what's we're gonna do. We'll have a show for both of the bands and we'll see from there the people's choice, and the teacher's choice." she explained.

I nodded, thinking of the idea.

"But doesn't feel like i'm sabotaging the other group or something?" I nervously chuckled.
"About that," she sniffs. "You're gonna take a break and i'd have the two other girls from the Music Club to train both of the bands" she replied.

My expressions dropped.

I can't leave my boys!

And leave them with some other girl!

Especially Cor—

"We should give them rating papers as well" she suggested.
"Y- yeah, that's okay" I nodded.
"Alright, we have ourselves ready. The whole week, you will just think about this. Oh and by the way you're excuse in the subjects you missed." she added.
"Sounds pretty okay for me" I smiled, nodding.
"Oh and when's that show?" I asked.

I stood up from my chair.

"This week will be full recording. Then on Monday we'll have the show, and on Tuesday the chosen band will be going on tour to represent the school" she replied.

This is going to be tough.

"Oh okay. I'll see you next time, have a good day." I smiled before exiting the office.
