❝cindy's pov❞

"You sure with your choice?" the principal asked me for the third time.

Each time she asked, I double-think.

But I don't change my answer.

"Yes. And that's final" I replied, sure.
"If you say so. Here's the contract" she said, smiling.

I took the most important paper and signed it with a shaky breath.

"Congratulations Cindy. I'm very proud" she smiled.

Hands started to clap, causing me to turn around, only to see Latasha and Charlotte clapping.

I chuckled.

"Well deserved Cindy!" Latasha giggled, pulling me into a hug.
"Congrats, the band you chose is the one" Charlotte smirked, making me laugh.
"I hope they won't let us down" I sighed.
"Oh they won't" Latasha gives me a reassuring smile and nod.
"You may exit Charlotte and Latasha. Thank you" the principal smiles.

They mouthed 'congratulations' before leaving.

"I thought we'd spend a week with them" the principal said.
"I thought so too! I guess we didn't really need it" I replied.

We chuckled.

"When will their tour start?" I asked.
"Next week is the most possible date. But the soonest event we have for them is this week, which is their show on school" she replied and I nodded.
"I can't imagine how they would react" I giggled.
"I would love to see their reaction. They deserve it after a few observing I have" she added.
"When will I announce it to them?" I asked.
"Well if they're still here, you may. But if they already left, tomorrow's a good day too" she replied, smiling.
"And also, have you thought about the other band?" she asked.
"Oh, about them. Well, I guess after the other band's tour they can start making gigs and shows on their own. Besides, we're graduating" I replied.
"Well planned, Shields. See you tomorrow" she smiled.

I then stood up from the chair.

"See you tomorrow too. I'd tell you their reaction!" I chuckled.

I exit the office and squealed silently to myself.

I ran back happily to the gym only to see it empty.

"The boys already went home" I mumbled.

With that, I went outside and waited for the bus to come and pick me up.

The bus stopped with no students in it.

"Sorry I was late" I chuckled, getting inside the bus.
"No worries. Five boys informed me you were still inside" he replied.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Five boys? I— oh." I said.
"Ring a bell?" he chuckled.
I nodded, "Yeah. Closest friends" I replied.

The bus stopped and I hopped down.

"Take care Cindy" he said.
"You too, thanks Mister Rob" I smiled and waited for the bus to leave before I walked towards our apartment.

❝the next day❞

The boys went to the gym as I told them just after classes were over.

"I'm nervous, what's happening?" Daniel said.

I chuckled.

"This is nothing bad. This is actually pretty amazing" I said.

They nodded, slightly excited.

"Well, the reason why we needed to separate you from Roadtrip for a day is because we were choosing who will represent the school in the Battle Of Bands in a way of touring." I explained.

They nodded.

"Now, from the principal's observations as well as mine's, we chose our represantatives" I cliff-hang them.

They laughed.

"Come on just tell who is it already" Daniel chuckled.
"Ready your bags in a few days because you guys are going on tour to represent the school! Congrats guys!" I announced.

They gasped before yelling.

"Let's go!" Daniel said.
"Oh my gosh, am I dreaming? Jack slap me" Zach said.
"Damn!" Jonah cheered.
"This is amazing" Jack said, putting his hands together and prayed.

I laughed at how cute their reactions were.

I looked at Corbyn, whose face was truly shocked.

"This wouldn't be possible without your late night sleeps and sacrifices" he said.

I blushed.

"Big thanks to Cindy!" Jack yelled, cupping his mouth.
"Thank you Cindy" they said in-sync.
"Woah I just felt like deja vu" Zach said.
"I know!" Jack said, pointing at him.
"But seriously Cindy, thank you. Why Don't We wouldn't be Why Don't We without you" Corbyn said.

I smiled and nodded.

"You're all welcome. And also, show tomorrow on the school stage with Roadtrip to recognize their dedication on singing" I announced.
"Yeah I mean Roadtrip's nice" Zach shrugged.
"Yeah" Jonah said.
"Group hug!" I yelled.

We opened our arms and joined to hug.

"I love you guys so much, you can't imagine." I said.
