❝cindy's pov❞

"Um miss Shields?" our professor cleared his throat.
"Hm?" I look away from all the school works I was doing.

All of them were holding basketballs and volleyballs whilst looking at me.

"We're going to play?" he said, as if I was stupid.
"Oh um, yeah yeah" I folded my lips and looked down, then closed the book and put it at the top of my eight more books.

Jack chuckled and shook his head.

"Again, five boys are here so we're gonna have changes" he held the ball on his hand.
"Don't really need to remind us every meeting" a blonde girl rolled her eyes and huffed.
"Right miss Gray. Okay, the said partners would be paired up and play physical games." he said.

We all moved to our partners and Jack motioned me to come to him.

"We're partners again?" I smiled.
"Yeah" he shrugged and got his racket.
"Cool. Where are the boys?" I asked, looking around.
"Clearly you weren't paying attention to professor Brown," he chuckled. "They're all playing because all of the students here are afraid they might hurt their pair" he said.

I squint my left eye and leaned back, confused.

"They agreed though. They don't know we're all okay now" he said.
"Okay.." I slowly nodded.
"You can already start now!" our professor yelled.

Jack handed me the other racket and he has the shuttlecock.

"Ready?" he asked, going at the other side of the net.
"Yea" I nodded.

He first served the shuttlecock and I hit it.

This continued for a few times until he failed to hit the shuttlecock, giving me a point.

"That was a hard work for one point" I laughed.
he laughed, "Congrats on that"

I shook my head and continued to laugh then he hit the shuttlecock back to me.

He hit it too low so he walked to get it.

"Hah! I'm really good at this game" I yelled.

Suddenly a whistle tuned, almost breaking my eardrums.

"Okay, that's enough for now. Everyone get their tumblers and head to their next classes" our professor yelled.

We all catched our breaths, tired from playing the games.

"See you" he waved at us and some of them waved back.

I look over at the boys who were dripping sweat.

They've never been so hot before.

"A fly's boutta enter, Cindy" Jack lifted my chin using his finger.

I didn't even realize my mouth was open from the sight when Jack closed it for me.

"Crap" I shook my head, chuckling in embarassment.
"Hey Jonah can I have some water?" Zach yelled.
"Nah mine's empty" Jonah turned his tumbler upside down.
"I have an extra one" I suggested and handed him the tumbler.
"Thanks" he smiled and drank.

The last group of students left the gym, making us the only ones left inside.

"We should get going" Corbyn smiled at me.
"Yeah" I nodded.

"We're back here" Daniel chuckled.
"Uh-huh" I nodded.

"Are you gonna do more things at home?" Jonah asked after seeing a lot of school works unfinished.
"Yeah, but i'll manage" I lied.

I barely sleep now and it sucks.

"You guys familiar with mashups?" I asked.
"Yeah" they nodded.
"What's that?" Zach knit his eyebrows.
"It's like you mix two or more songs in one" Jack replied.
"Oh" Zach slowly nodded.
"You guys wanna try doing one?" I asked.
"That's different" Jonah said.
"I'm cool with it, how about you guys?" Corbyn said.
"Course" Daniel nodded.
"Alright, let's try" I said.
"What songs are we doing?" Daniel asked.

"Hey Daniel get your guitar ready" I reminded him.

He nodded and got his guitar from the case.

"Are we ready?" I asked.

They all nodded as response.

"Hey Cindy, it's almost twelve am. Are you still gonna continue making the boys' projects? I mean it's pretty late" Harvey asked as he rubbed his eyes.
I yawned, "I'm good Harvey, a cup of hot chocolate maybe?" I sleepily asked.
"Sure" he nodded and went to the kitchen.

I finished the last page of one of their projects and closed it.

I let out a sigh before moving to the next work.

And another.

"Thanks Harvey, you can sleep now. Sorry for the bother" I got the cup from him and he shook his head.
"No worries. Sleep soon, yeah?" he waved as he entered his room.
"Night" I slightly yelled.

The boys' project were done after half an hour and I needed to work on their documents.

Every week, the boys has new documents for their weekly monitoring.

"Thank me you guys are cute. If you aren't, I would've slept my eyes instead" I chuckled to my self and continued.
