~Mya's POV~
Upon hearing their dad speak boys started to fill into the living room one by one until all ten were scattered around the room. They were all speaking among themselves not even realizing that I was standing here or that I'm the reason they were called. Except one of them. He had blue eyes and pitch black hair. He was staring at me like he was in a trance. Kerry had nudged me causing me to look over at her.
"Don't worry they don't bite. I promise." She spoke in my ear before clapping gaining the boys attention.
They all looked over to her finally realizing that I was standing here. "Boys this is Mya. I have been telling you about her for the last week. Please introduce yourselves." Kerry said stepping to the side.
I'm assuming the oldest stepped up first. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He also had a huge tiger tattoo on his right arm. "Hey I'm Christopher. But just call me Chris. I won't be here much due to college but you'll see me when we have events or during the holidays."
Next was a blonde with green eyes.He held out his hand for me to shake it."I'm Hunter. Guess you could say I'm just guarding my place on the couch" He chuckled causing me to laugh lightly. "I'm also not here often. I come home on weekends. Hate my roommate. But don't tell him I said that." He said winking and walking away.
"You're cute. If you ever need help I'll be across the hall. She isn't related to us so I most definitely take dibs." He said. I scrunched up my nose. He was very direct but cute nonetheless. Jim smacked the back of his head. "Ow. I was just telling the truth. I'm Brandon. We go to school together."
The next to approach me was the one who was staring at me way to hard for my liking. "I'm Xavier. You can thank my mom for putting us in all the same classes. " He said with a shrug. That's all he said before walking back to the couch not waiting for my response. How rude.
A set of twins walked up to me. They looked the same but you could clearly tell they had two different personalities. "We're Luke and Duke." One of them said pointing to both of them. " I have a birthmark on my wrist. So I'd be Luke." He said holding out his wrist. "And I always have a football in my hand. So I'd be Duke." He said tossing the ball in the air.
Another set of twins walked over to me. I looked at Kerry. "You had two sets of twins back to back?" I asked.
"Yes. I was just as shocked as you are." She said smiling and shrugging.
One of the twins cleared their throats bringing me back to their attention. "We're Tyler and Gabe. Only one of us has a brain which is me, Tyler." He said smirking and earning a punch from I'm assuming is Gabe. "But I'm cooler than he is. So I'm Gabe." He said.
" Glad you finally showed up.I was starting to think my mom was making you up. I'm Alex. One of the younger kids. But don't worry I'm not annoying." He said rolling his eyes.
I felt a pair of tiny arms wrap around my legs causing me to look down. "I'm Drew. Are you a meanie like my brothers?" He asked with a pout.
"Of course I'm not. You're already my best friend." I said squatting down to his level. I gave him a high five.
Everyone started to disperse back to where they came from before being called. "So Mya you can go get settled in and dinner should be ready shortly. Oh Xavier and Brandon show her to her room." Kerry said walking out the living room with Jim right behind her.
That caused Brandon and Xavier to stop in their tracks. "Yeah. No. I have other things to do besides give a tour."Brandon said walking out. Leaving just me and Xavier in the room.
I do have to admit though he is very cute. He has a piercing in the left corner of his bottom lip. I can tell when he's nervous, he plays with it. And a time like this could show this.
"So Mya...we can go to your room first. It's going to be across the hall from mine and Brandon's." He said to me while looking around the living room.
"Thanks for the help." I said with a small smile.
We headed over to the elevator that I just realized was there.Once inside he pushed the fourth button.
"We have our own floor?" I asked looking at him sideways.
"Yeah you can say that. The stairs are just too much work. Especially with you bringing luggage. But Chris and Hunter also have a room on our floor."He replied.
"Oh wow. That's pretty cool." I said slowly. For some odd reason my anxiety was starting to rise.
My breathing was starting to pick up and I slid down the wall. The elevator was seeming to get smaller by the second.
"H-h-hey Mya, you okay? You don't look so good." Xavier said while reaching out to me.
"Don't touch me!!!!" I screamed at him. I knew he was only trying to help but it only took me back to that dark place. By the time the elevator opened and I stood back up.
"I can explain....You just have to promise not to tell anyone.
But to be honest I was only going to tell him a part of the truth not the entire truth. We stepped off the eleavtorand began walking a long hallway.
"I promise not to tell but honestly Mya you don't have to tell me." Xavier said.
"It's fine. Better for you to know now rather than later. I guess you can say I don't take to kindly to people touching me and small spaces. I'm only here cause of the things that was happening with my dad back home. " I said softly but know he still heard me.
He just looked at me before opening the door to what I assume is my room.
"Trust me Mya whatever he did to you, me and my brothers would never do." He said to me with his back turned.
A/N: Here's to another chapter. Hope this is more interesting than the last. I'm truly trying and putting a lot of effort into this. So about these expectations for chapters. Gonna start off small since it's only the beginning.
