Sleep Tight - Aesop x Reader

You've been doing matches all day, after your final match of the day you were exhausted. You thought it'd be nice to walk around the manor before you headed off to your bedroom. It was dark, some of the lights were not turned on in the manor but you seem to mind. As you walked around you bumped into certain someone.

Your eyes widen as you looked up to see who it was, a tint of pink formed on your cheeks. You had bumped into Aesop, the boy you've had a crush on ever since you laid eyes on him. He was a shy person, you thought it was adorable when he would sometimes stutter as he talked. You liked him ever since the day he arrived to the manor, it was love at first sight for you.

"(Y/n) isn't it passed bedtime, have been playing matches all day? You must be tired.." Aesop said in a worried voice. You blushed even harder, his voice was always so calm and soothing to you. "W-well I know it's passed bedtime and that I should be in my room by now.. I just thought I'd be nice to take a walk before I headed to my room..! Aren't you tired too? " You smiled.
"No I'm not tired, but if it's alright with you (Y/n) I'm gonna walk you to your room, only so you can rest" Aesop said
"Ah-, alright Aesop" You said shyly

You and Aesop were walking to your room, it was pretty quiet since it was 11 pm. Gosh it was really late... as you and Aesop reached your room you thanked him. "Thankyou Aesop for walking me back to my room! I appreciate it!" You smiled softly at him, he smiled back but you couldn't see it.

You went inside your room, giving Aesop another smile before you closed your door. Once you closed the door and slowly slouched down on it, having your back lean on it. You covered your face, your heart was pounding.

It was about 12 now, an hour has passed. You're laying on your bed, thinking about him. His smile, his voice, his face. Just him in general, you guys were pretty close and you did talk a lot. You didn't know if he was sleeping right now, but you wanted to tell him goodnight. You decided to go to his room, you slowly walked to his room not wanting to make any noise.

But as you got closer to his room you heard giggles, was it just your imagination? You looked at the door which was slightly open you peeked in and saw Aesop was up with someone. Who was he with? Your heart sinked a little. You looked closer. it was Emma Woods. Your heart broke. Everyone loved her, she was so nice, sweet and caring. She gets along with everyone, even Aesop. Trying to listen to what they were giggling about, you accidentally opened the door all the way.

Your eyes also widen as you accidentally opened the door all the way. You saw them, Aesop and Emma. Your eyes got watery, tears fell down from your cheeks. You didn't even take time to listen to them. You ran to your room. "(Y/n)!!!" Aesop yelled. You closed your door and locked it, hands covering your face as you cried.

You were such an emotional wreck. You were tired from crying, you were tired of everything. You were about to get ready for bed until you heard a knock on your door. You opened it slowly. it revealed your crush. Aesop, he softly looks into your eyes. "(Y/n) why are you crying..? Was it something I did?" Aesop said with a shaky voice.

Your teary eyes looked into his soft ones and you invited him in, You guys talked about the situation. "Thanks Aesop, I'm feeling a bit better knowing the truth now..hehe" You giggled a bit, "Yeah.. No problem (Y/n), I just don't want you to think the wrong thing" Aesop Responded

You looked at Aesop, who was looking at the floor. You wanted to do something, you wanted to confess. Confess your feelings to Aesop, you couldn't wait anymore. You were scared to lose him to someone else. You thought today was the day.

"Hey uhm, Aesop can I ask you something?" You asked shyly. You were pretty nervous but you've been wanting to do this for a long time. "Hm?, what is it (Y/n)." Aesop Replied. You huffed and looked at the ground. You played with the hem of your shirt. "I really like you.." You said quietly but loud so he could hear.

Gosh you were a tomato, Aesop looked at you and giggled a bit.  "I like you too (Y/n), I've liked you for a while. Emma was telling me about you. She was telling me about how amazing you were.." He said

You and Aesop looked at each other in the eye, both of you blushing. Aesop looked at the time it late.
"Hey (Y/n).. I think I should go back to my room. It's pretty late and I don't want you staying up so late.. Aesop said lightly smiling. "Oh, Ok Aesop, I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight!" You smiled.

You closed your eyes and yawned, you heard the door open and close. you lay on your bed. You thought Aesop was gone, nope you were wrong. He was still there. You opened your eyes. He smiled at you, you smiled back. He then tucked you in bed.
