Chapter 14

The following day I woke up to a bright light, which meant it was five a.m. I got up and changed out of my clinic gown and changed into my clothes and grabbed my bag; I then snuck through the shadows to get to the front door and sneak out to meet phi! Oh, I'm so excited to meet him. I then sloshed down by the side of the building, away from the windows, so that the doctors wouldn't notice me. I don't want to get healed anymore. I then texted phi hi and waited for him to text back until I saw some bubbles appearing while I grabbed four things out of my bag a snack, Huey, my bey, and Pokémon. Hey, white wolf, ready to battle. My bey then gave off a gleam of happiness. That's the spirit partner, now let's have metapod out and have some fun training till phi comes. I then looked at my phone and saw a text back "what do you want" I read, I then texted him to see what time he was coming, I then turned off my phone and put it back in my bag, I then let metapod out, and he looked at me strangely. "Hey, buddy, ready to do some training," I asked, "meta-meta" he squealed. I then smiled and got up, and started to walk away from the clinic with metapod on my shoulder, while I was trying to make sure no one saw us. I then picked up my pace once we were out of sight of any people, well, until I found a flat gaveled space to practice and train a few miles away from any stupid clinic, well, more like a couple of thousand miles away. I then put white wolf in my launcher and launched her while I had metapod practice harden and string shot; while I think my phone was going off, but I didn't care. I just kept training for phi while holding Huey tightly near me while smiling, thinking of wonder, teen titans, puppy dog pals, mostly any cute funny characters.

While I was doing that, something was going down somewhere else, more like walking or training. "Phoenix, what could she want now," he asked his bey. Phi then checked his phone "what time are you coming" he read, "ugh, showco, your very impatient, well don't worry, I'll be there soon to destroy you" he said. Phi then continued towards his destination "don't worry, Phoenix, once we destroy all the most powerful bladers will be number one" he said.

I was training still until I heard someone's footsteps coming towards me, so I turned around and saw him with his lovely long white hair with his two beautiful different colours, his grin, and his long red jacket with his black shirt, white belt, and dark red pants, he was stunning. I then shook off the thought of how wonderful he looked "well, hello" I said, "hello inpatient showco" he said. "well, sorry if I want to meet and battle you so bad" I said, "wow you must want to get beat" he said, "okay well let's get it on" I said. He then looked up and down at me "well, you are a beauty prey" he said, "Hey, I'm not a beauty or prey, I'm a beast" I said, "okay, whatever you say, now get ready to get beaten," he said. I just nodded and picked up my bey "okay, shall we battle here or go somewhere else, more with a bey field" I asked, "here is fine" he said. I smiled and put white wolf in my launcher while phi did the same with dread Phoenix, "prepare to be destroyed" he said, "whatever" I said, "3, 2, 1 let it rip" me and phi both shouted. Our bey's then started to spin, and phi took the centre, wherever that was between the two of us "speed it up, white wolf" I said, "Phoenix revive impact" he said. Our beys then clashed and made mine go out. "Okay, one point to you," I said, "don't worry, next will be a burst," he said, "okay, bring it," I said. I and phi then put our bey's in our launchers again and got ready "3, 2, 1 let it rip" I and phi shouted. Our bey's then started to spin "white wolf nightmare crush" I called. My bey then clashed against phi's, and I knocked off the outer ring "now white wolf, bury it with avalanche," I shouted. My bey then lighted up and made a particular move and sparks flew, while I looked at phi, he was beautiful with his black eyes, while his bey and mine went at each other. "Phoenix revives crush" he shouted. I then watched as my bey was smashed into pieces.

After the smoke cleared, I saw my bey in pieces; I grabbed it then fell to the ground on my knees laughing "this is what happens when you battle me, showco" he said. Phi then turned around and almost started to walk away while I laughed louder; phi turned and stared at me. "What are you, why are you laughing," he asked, "who me, well I am a weird, crazy, dance and singable, lovable, funny, cool blader, why do you ask," I said. "Wired?" He asked, "yeah, some people call me that, anyways I gotta start running," I said, "why flee, little one," he asked, "first don't call me any cute names, and second cause people will be after me," I said. "What people," he asked, "wow, phi, you ask so many questions, yet you are dark Vader," I said. A smile grew on his face "you are very weird, but where will you go, miss showco" he asked, "please, it's just showco or Katie, phi anywhere me and my Pokémon can go" I said, "what is this Pokémon?" He asked. I then pointed to the green creature on my shoulder "very fascinating, well I guess this is goodbye" he said, "sure, we already have each other's numbers. In case I want to contact you, hehe," I said. I then put my scattered pieces in my pocket and started to walk off "you know, showco you seem like good travel companion" he said, "hmm speak of the devil it must be that time, bye phi" I said. "come on showco come join me" he said, "hmm what's the word I'm looking for oh yeah no, I've already been with enough people to know that I'll be alone in this world, I'll have friends but not travel companions" I said. "Oh come on, it can't be that bad; we show each other's resinous power," he said, "no thanks, bye phi," I said once again. I then walked away thinking about finding a place to fix my bey, leaving all my friends to not look or worry about me.
